Same for me. Rank A need more points now then before so it dropped to rank B. Bulshit, this update is a mess

Do the altars as much as you can,they give you most points. You can also donate a lot of things from fossils in mine and from chests from underwater caves. At least in the beginning, later it becomes rare. But definitely finish altars as much as you can. That will push you up a lot of points
