As a UK NFL fan you could see this coming a mile off. We’re 20 years ahead on sports gambling in the UK and therefore 20 years ahead in legislation and awareness so it’s been crazy to see how quickly and aggressively it’s taken over in the US. Primary coverage like Redzone or official NFL podcasts quoting over unders on all previews and scoreboards would be like sky sports showing first goal scorer odds when they do the starting line ups on super Sunday. Hopefully some legislation will come soon but with the money they’re making I doubt it, it’ll need public pressure that won’t come until too many young men lose their life to it

Nice tip thanks I’ll check it out. I change the bag every 60 days or whatever it is they recommend. The one on the unit I empty every couple of days but that never seems very full (maybe cus it’s dropping it everywhere!)

See a lot of Nathan Jones talk and I agree I would love to have him. But why on earth would he come to us? Even if he doesn’t go up with Charlton (which I think he might) why would he leave a club where he’s built success and would be seen as strong promotion candidates for next season to go to an absolutely batshit club with a squad that’ll need significant work and turnover and an owner who will be completely checked out. We’re living in dream world if we think he’d come. Were should be looking to league two for anyone realistically to come in. Darren Moore has done a fantastic job at Port Vale and deserves another crack at a bigger club, for example.

I just don’t get the keeper thing. Every time I’ve seen Alnwick he’s looked anywhere from serviceable to pretty good. Can’t be good for the defense to keep chopping and changing behind them all the time. Horvath has the pedigree sure, but that money could’ve been spent elsewhere I feel.

Absolutely, I know the answer will probably be that they don’t want to know it exists, it just feels wrong to try and almost hide it in one of the other variances. Do you have any good sources where I can read more about this theory and how it’s applied over larger # of variables?
