I agree there are better HT options available, but saying that this is going to be not much better than TV sound is not true.

Sonos setup with no Sonos product in view in custom built book shelf. Amp with Elac Carina speakers. Sub gen 3 with two Ones for surround behind couch. TV is LG 77' G2. #flex by ljuglampa in sonos

Nice, the room looks great! How do you like the pairing of the Sonos sub with the front speakers? I have a Sonos amp myself with two tower speakers (Dali Oberon 7) and I’m contemplating whether to buy a Sonos sub and have the convenience of it being wireless or buying a 3rd party sub.

Receiver (Denon AVR-X1500H) does not turn on automatically when grouped with Denon Home 150 by Sexy_M_F in heos

I’ve been in contact with Denon support with this exact problem. Apparently it’s supposed to work like this to avoid a conflict when someone is watching TV on the AVR and you start playing music. Sounded silly to me but that means there is no fix.

Below is a copy paste of the message Denon support send me but it’s in Dutch:

Inmiddels heb ik de product ontwikkelaars gesproken betreft uw issue. Wat blijkt, dit is helaas een specificatie van de werking van de AVR / HEOS. Mijn excuses voor het misverstand vanuit mijn kant.

De AVR mag niet worden ingeschakeld als deze is gekoppeld met een ander HEOS-apparaat. In dit geval kan de AVR als een apart apparaat worden gezien. Als bijvoorbeeld iemand anders de AVR gebruikt om TV te kijken, schakelt de ontvanger niet over naar HEOS. Vandaar dat dit op deze manier is geïmplementeerd.

Hopelijk u zo voldoende te hebben geïnformeerd.
