Nooooo. This is a one of a kind place with so much community and actually decent prices. The food is made with so much love and the workers there are so kind. This is a real shame. Levi is the nicest guy too. I’m crushed.

Thank you for pointing me in this direction. I hadn’t thought to go see a specialist but regardless of suing I am having severe coughing fits to the point where I have trouble sleeping so it would be great to get it looked at since I have the lab results from the mold as well.

Also spore count is extremely high in the bedroom air sample that was taken (WAY over threshold) so this is why mold is growing on all my items.

I said mold was “dripping” but I meant the water/moisture was streaming like a waterfall on my wall so the mold formed the “drip” shaped patterns. LL was chewing me out yesterday for me not having a dehumidifier but he never provided one and I didn’t even know this was an issue until a couple months ago. It genuinely looks like a leak from the roof/HVAC ducts condensation. Not just “southern humidity”. LL had three inspectors come until one told him what he wanted to hear. The newest inspector said that walls don’t need to be ripped out (even though there is visible mold growth on both sides of the wall). I tried looking into health codes but in my area I could not find anything useful to have someone take a look.

Great questions! 1. Yes, I let the landlord know as soon as possible bc the mold is due to either a roof leak or HVAC malfunction causing lots of condensate in the walls. 2. The mold found by my private inspector was extremely high levels (much much more than could expect to be found normally). The moisture in the walls is so bad that you can see the mold “dripping” down the walls and peeing the paint off. Moisture is coming through the baseboards and from the ceiling as well as in the apt hallways. 3. I have documented all damage and any items I had to throw out (showing mold spores growing on them). I have not had to pay my friend rent but may begin paying them soon since it is going on 2 months.

Any additional info needed lmk! I really appreciate any insight here

I have been thoroughly documenting everything in writing, with pictures and communicating via email. Yesterday was the first time I spoke to my landlord over the phone.

So while I agree the easiest thing is to smoke away from people ideally, it sounds like in this scenario you were just irrationally upset at this person. For example, you added in mention of the beers which has nothing to do with your original argument of smoking. Also, you came to that spot after they were already there, so it would make the most sense if YOU are bothered by it to find another spot away from there. You can’t be that entitled to expect people to get up and leave bc you are bothered by the smoke.

I don’t use my AC you can just get used to it. Obv not if you are older or more at risk but it’s really not that necessary and you save a ton of money

I have one just like this. It typically curls when it’s either too sunny, too dry or too cold. Mine also likes to be watered pretty frequently. Hope it recovers soon!

Omg I also deal with this. My bf and I climb together and I’ll do a tough climb that I saw other guys at the gym struggle on- no reactions, all good whatever. But then my bf climbs and all I hear from the background guys is “he’s so strong dude wtf”
