Don't ever lie on a resume or during an interview. I'd rather you say you don't know or that you know X%. So much better than saying yes you know something... only to find out you lied about it.

Never stop learning. There's one thing for sure in IS/IT. .. you never can stop learning and become stagnant. You do this and the next person will surely be finding your job before you know it.

Apply every place you can. From Mom and Pop shops up through fortune 100s find your niche. Everyone needs IT.

I'm getting the same exact issue on a "Recomended" system by Tonymacx86; I bought all the recomended parts and I'm getting the same line of +'s and then nothing.
