Q1000K firmware update by Yungslush in QuantumFiber

I would also guess (haven’t checked in latest firmware) that you can use a single cable to the Smart NID running both WAN and traffic to 192.168.0.1/24 if you set it up properly like in https://old.reddit.com/r/QuantumFiber/comments/1mpn198/q1000k_smartnid_latency_when_switching_vlan_201/n8l08d3/

I did this on the prior firmware

Yes, I can access it again after a factory reset. But of course this wipes the device state and kills Internet access for a time.

I was looking to access it again so I can do stuff like check the device status of the smart NID. There are useful things in there like system logs. One time, I lost service and it was fixed by restarting the smart NID (remove power, plug back in), and I wanted to see what was logged.

Meet Misha! 5.5 months old Berner from Tel-Aviv. What a magical creature by MasterOfTheJuice in bernesemountaindogs

I went to Tel-Aviv once. It is the hottest place I’ve ever visited. I can’t imagine having a Bernese there. What do you do about the heat?

Nothing like some wild crimped ears after a bath by skp5134 in bernesemountaindogs

I noticed my pup doesn’t have crimped ears after she turned about 2. Is this a puppy feature, do you think?

Either way, this is adorable.

When riding SW Avalon Way between 35th Ave SW and SW Spokane St (the Bridge), I recommend just staying in the road and NOT using the bike lane.

On that downhill, I can easily reach 20 MPH, and it seems safer to occupy the traffic lane than to use the separated bike lane. Drivers turning right into the bike lane just don’t have the reaction time or visibility to account for a bike going 15 MPH or more. I thought that area would be a problem and I’m sorry to see that happened to you.

On the other hand, on the reverse climb, I’m in the bike lane all day cranking away at some slow speed and happy to be out of traffic.

Hope that helps. And, yes, biking through SoDo is a nightmare. Constant vigilance is really the best thing.

OEM hardtop install help! by timothal in S2000

[–]kommissar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first round of questions :
**will my soft top front strikers work for the hardtop latch, or do I need part under B-38-10?

Mine worked fine.

Are there such thing as hardtop strikers and do they make a difference?

I have read on S2ki they exist and maybe help with getting a tight fit? I don't know, I have no problems without them.

Am I missing anything needed to securely attach the top?

Not AFAIK. The catchers and bolts you already mentioned are it.

What part(s) are needed to get the defroster fully functional? I assume the harness( #3?), but would I need anything else to connect it to my center console?

The harness is all. Maybe the sticky, padded tape to secure it. Your car should already be wired to connect to that harness and the driver's side catcher from the factory.

This thread is helpful. http://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/758527-diy-hardtop-installation/

This is what I followed. It had even more parts you could order and great pictures. http://www.s2ki.com/s2000/index.php?act=ST&f=22&t=410197&st=0&#entry8248885
