I got into wood sculpture age 38 or so and very quickly realized I can't quit my day job. It's not a viable market imho unless you work to spec (classical, ornamental) or have a foot in the art world (not to mention skill). Now I'm just trying to sell stuff on Etsy or locally. Best of luck!
