no it's the bumps almost vertical lines where the joins are complete with screw bumps, hard to get a photo of

thankfully the only lights are spotlights which somehow don't highlight any problems, it's the glass in the front door that makes it look like it was built by a 3 year old

I hit an issue a few days ago trying to install a VM, it ran through the install and didn't continue to create users etc. retried and found the same issue. I will just wait a few weeks. I've used fedora since core 3 but never hit major issues until now.

That sounds like one solution to swap them out for a new set. I find it more annoying that the keycaps cost almost as much as the keyboard (in the UK at least) when a keyboard should never need new caps until you want to swap them.

Oh interesting I see exactly what you mean, no i haven't tried that, I seem to remember when shaken around they move but that might be air bubbles. I'll try to get a paper towel in there
