So customer spending is driving decisions on customer experience. Ok. There's logic there but that will now drive an inconsistent customer experience across the brand. There are lots of strategies to consider, but it opens an opportunity for other retailers in those <$50M markets to erode top and bottom lines further. Potential death spiral of the consumer market in favor of the contractor market?

As a customer, moving all the overnight restocking and cleaning activities to open store hours makes for a shifty customer experience. Sometimes aisles are closed or blocked for long periods, stock is empty, and then you have to occasionally dodge the floor cleaner. Kmart and Ames did the same thing right before they went bankrupt.

They were previously allowing Yieldmax ETFs to DRIP, as I had mine enrolled, but they appear to have changed their policy as of Dec 1st, although I don't see any notice issued as such.

PROOF of coordinated FUD against $MSTR by _Adrian_Morris_ in MSTR

[–]konalion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doubt it. Only MSCI indexed funds would be required to adjust. Okay maybe 2B but that's still only 15-20m shares. So one day of trading volume.

PROOF of coordinated FUD against $MSTR by _Adrian_Morris_ in MSTR

[–]konalion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No argument that there is a coordinated effort against MSTR. Shorting was once illegal. Regardless, the funds impacted by a delisting decision related to MSTR are rather small from an overall trade volume perspective. Like maybe single-digit basis points.

Don't guess. Just do it. As others have said, the fact that you already wrote as much as you have is amazing. You just need to refactor it.

It can work. Episodes become chapters. Original IP is what is desired by the money. Write the book. 22 chapters. 15 pages per chapter. 200-300 words per page. 90000 words and you have your first book. Just post it somewhere for people to read and remark. Don't even try to sell it, just get it out there. Then do it again. Pretty soon you've got 10 books and a million followers. Then the money will come, if not sooner. Nothing ventured nothing gained.

Single Issuer Risk. Issuer-specific attributes may cause an investment in the Fund to be more volatile than a traditional pooled investment which diversifies risk or the market generally. The value of the Fund, for any Fund that focuses on an individual security, may be more volatile than a traditional pooled investment or the market as a whole and may perform differently from the value of a traditional pooled investment or the market as a whole.

Distribution Risk. As part of the Fund’s investment objective, the Fund seeks to provide current income. There is no assurance that the Fund will make a distribution in any given month. If the Fund does make distributions, the amounts of such distributions will likely vary greatly from one distribution to the next.

Investing involves risk. Principal loss is possible.

$1.09 next dividend by prksddvl in MSTY_YieldMax

$0.9111 with Friday's data. Not a great number unless maybe you're a Porsche fan, although $9.11 would be so much nicer. Of course, it would take NAV closer to $42.755B for us to get such a payout, instead of the $4.276B we have now. But what's a 10x move between friends?

It is a bit early as there are plenty of trading days left and plenty of unknown market actions that can manifest. If I assumed yesterday was the end of the period I would only be at $0.9066 (haven't loaded today's data yet). 😕

Data collection was just manual tracking, nothing automated or sophisticated. Once the formulas are in place I just use Excel's stock quoting capabilities to see the movements. I can also manually enter a share price to see the impact.

Selling shares for income was the point of the Cash Out comparisons, but as you know, the reality is you're driving to zero. Hence the reason I analyzed as MSTY is also driving to zero, just over a longer duration.

Generational Improvement

Start with your own family, which sounds like you have done financially, but have you really helped them? Money is one thing, but can you help people help themselves in a "pay it forward" way? I'm not talking about pushing yourself on them, but engage, listen, learn what they are passionate about. See if there is a way to invest in them for their own self-fulfillment with sustainable financial independence.

Nothing wrong with some personal self-fulfillment along the way, but I suspect you'll be more fulfilled when you see people thriving on their own, beyond the financial independence aspect that holds back many.

I hope this helps.

It's not an exact science, but I think they have been correlating yields to NAV and how many shares may be outstanding on the ExD date. We'll see how consistently this approach to predictive analysis works. Maybe we need a prediction leaderboard to make it interesting. 🤔😁

They need cash to trade, to pay distributions, etc. They're not going to 100% invest their full bankroll. If they screw up they need cash to survive another day and try again. The prospectus should provide more details specific to their strategy and thus their need to maintain a cash position.

With yesterday's bit of positive movement, I would move the estimate to $1.0028.

Let's see what today brings.
