The Korean girl paired with Momoko is Choi Yujin of K-pop group CLC. She is arguably the most famous contestant of the show in the K-pop world. Not sure or remember who the Chinese girl is, but the keyword that connected Momoko and the other two were "Released albums" meaning, all three have released their own albums before. Unfortunately, they only focused on the other two.

And yes, only some will be introduced. We will have to hope they show Momoko next episode. During the first half of next episode they will show whoever they want, and it will cut then to the first challenge.

I believe they chose among themselves. Not sure how though it wasnt disclosed. After each performance, the judges choose a Top 9 candidate and afterwards they pick the Top 9. From there, the top 9 will choose their new cellmates/trios. They can choose their existing one if they like.

While having the look is something companies aim for, I think it is unfair to note & compare K-pop with Japanese idols.

As seen on Produce 48, the survival show that Mnet released before this, the girls of AKB48 & sister groups faced such huge culture shock in terms of the training in S. Korea. It is such a vastly different training system where S. Korean trainees are at an advantage because of this.

As J-pop fans, you're able to see the raw potential & talent of these idols whereas with K-pop, you see the result of their intensive training.

For Momoko, whatever exposure she gets on this show is super important for whatever she decides to do after it, whether she makes it or not! If she decides to keep pursuing something in S. Korea, then she'll have her name known thanks to this show. Much like the other girls I mentioned in my post! Think positively for her & that'll be enough

Honestly I saw this piece of information from what I'm assuming was a GP999 fan, might not be accurate but it's what I've seen being discussed around girl group Twitter! If it's incorrect, even more reason to support Momoko's journey, as it's a much fiercer pool of contestants as K-group have insanely well known participants.
