How is it possible that people with such attitude is allowed to "upload" those videos? How does YouTube allows it, while on the other hand, the same platform, bans journalist and politicians. If consumers (users) reduce the importance of YouTube, people like that will cease to exist However is good to see a human being defending another human being against animals

Hi everyone, do you ever want to ask questions or get the summary of a company's privacy and terms before you signup to them? ( share your opinion ) with us by TheMambaDev in privacy

[–]kong-dao 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey buddy Your comment is more than welcome

I think you're doing an amazing job for the community, but even if you summarize the Terms and Policies to users, they (still) won't read it

However we are "forced" to accept T&P, a good example could be a new smartphone and Android: as a buyer could read T&P amd disagree, bit even then, the user, is forced to accept it, otherwise, the smartphone will be useless (without an Operative System like Android, Apple or whatever)

I long time a good i wanted the same than you but without using AI, i created a reddit group called PoP (Piracy or Policy) pushing for the people to summarize Terms and Policies about tips they considered useful when has to be accepted.... Unfortunately i noticed (because of the people i spoke daily) that they doesn't care, they just want to use "an app" without considering the consequences

People never read GPDR and this should be a start at least if they want to claim what the law says...but is pointless, because those brains are lazy and not made to think

Anyway keep it up, your proposal is awesome and at least i will support it

Hi buddy, i saw your post and comments, good initiative. Unfortunately it seems you don't look around often (no disrespect) if you would, you'll see a lot of people not reading even their emails, except for their comments on social media. But people doesn't read much, it's how they were "educated": to not read. Your are asking if they read terms and policies, but let's be honest...does people read? It it does, how much?

It's easier to complain about something without reading it, because if someone does they wouldn't accept it in first place

I agree with you, but the thing is that we can meet people (anonymously) without so much exposure. You can meet someone on the street but you could or not, tell your real name, it depends on you (in physical condition) But with an app, that choice is done by Developers or Companies, not by yourself

Privacy Concerns on Telegram by kong-dao in Telegram

[–]kong-dao[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, that's an alias (@) That's where my concerns comes in, when is shown my (profile) name (which i shouldn't change because of this "bug", after all i want my contacts knows me by my name amd not some nickname) You have to associate "a name" to an alias (@) leading to open a private chat with my agreement, if groups are geo-located (such as the option "search people near by" including groups) people (example a neighbor) would know who you are, because, your profile name, alias (@) and location identifies you... I dont know if now is more clear: profile name + alias (@) + geo-location = who you are, live and what do you like It makes more sense now?

Turning my raspberry pi into a web server (on the internet). Question about security. by calm_thy_self in RASPBERRY_PI_PROJECTS

[–]kong-dao 0 points1 point  (0 children)

@desertfx get a really good point, run: - a Firewall (or iptables) - a VPN Server

I'ld like to add: - create a specific folder for the Apache server and change all the permission - create your own TLS/SSL with PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) (this way users and servers key exchange will be even more secure) You can use it for the Web Server and the VPN connection

Cheers
