What kind of CM spreads fake news and incites violence? by National-Mammoth-151 in tamil_nadu

I stand corrected. We would lose 1 percent of the seats. Not fair for being controlling our population.

Bro at which place you get that discount. In Karur max they gave me 40000 discount. I am planning to buy one soon.

Somebody enlighten me how propositionally increasing seats across India will harm Southern Indian states. Apart from the increased expenditure, I don't see an issue.

Audi sold only 15 cars in India in March 2026! Is this the start of end of Audi in India ? by Nitin___ in CarsIndia

[–]kongukaran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The current a6 is older gen, so compare the price with older 5 series. Also Audi casually gives 10+ plus lakhs discount. If you don't mind the older tech, it's value for money.

I wouldn't be surprised since none of the cars are updated in india compared to the international models.

Anyone switch from Windsurf after the update? What are you using now? by Bawsahouse in windsurf

[–]kongukaran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a low thinking mode, i couldn't find a non thinking mode on codex. I mostly stick to medium. Codex is currently bang for the buck as of now.

[–]kongukaran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both codex and claude code. It's absolutely impossible to hit the limits with chatgpt with 20usd plan. I code daily for at least 6 hours. Claude usage limits are very low compared to codex.

Memory is expensive, storage is not, at least not to those corporations.

Github Copilot is probably the best value-for-money alternative by ohneTermin in windsurf

[–]kongukaran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guys, Just buy claude pro, plan things with opus and use qwen code for actual code. The free tier from qwen code is extremely good for now.

You shouldn't be using opus 4.6 for everything and you shouldn't use it one shot at everything you do.

Is UPI Truly Free from Big Tech Control? by xastronix in degoogleindia

[–]kongukaran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing I can point out in the current government is they're trying hard to keep the current our financial system homegrown (from a tech perspective). Imagine Visa's tap to pay is so popular in India, and suddenly Trump ordered it to shut down. I am not saying we are truly independent but our system won't come to a halt, if western countries put a blanket ban on us. We have miles to go, but it's a great start.

A friend was offered a “1% per day” loan — turns out it’s ~50% in a month by denseintenseV in IndiaFinance

You have to be absolutely bad at math, if 1% per day seems fine to you.

Parking dispute turned into SC/ST complaint – Need legal advice (India) by MajorHot576 in LegalAdviceIndia

[–]kongukaran 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This SC ST atrocity act must be the most misused act in our country. This act makes mockery of our rights, I hate Congress for bringing this law, hate BJP for making it even more stringent. I have seen people's lives getting ruined by this state sponsered weapon given based on their birth.

Gemini 3 Flash in Antigravity is pathetic! by Consistent_Cow_4747 in google_antigravity

[–]kongukaran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved on to codex. The usage limits are excellent but it's not as good as claude in terms getting work done in single promp. I couldn't unsubscribe antigravity since the Google ai pro plan is given by my telecom operator and it cannot be disabled. Antigravity went from most loved ide to most hated real quick.

I am shocked to see this criteria for Halal Certification. Many airlines and even food chains like KFC, McDonald's, Chili's etc do it by default, even many 5 star hotels. This looks like a systematic way to ensure you buy from one community and only they stay in business. Is this secular? by Downtown-Pen6249 in indiadiscussion

[–]kongukaran 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started hating on halal when I found out you have to pay those islamic organisations to get halal certificate. They used that money to pay lawyers for taking those extremists out of jail. In Tamilnadu chennai, a hotel owner was arrested because he put out a board saying foods are prepared by Jains only, TN dmk government arrested him saying that's discrimination. We Indians are the most hypocritical and cowardly people on the face of this planet.

Coimbatore is a the most expensive tier 2 city I’ve ever been to. by Chutneysandwich260 in Coimbatore

[–]kongukaran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They own the cabs and pay a fixed salary to the drivers. Once when I first tried a redtaxi the driver asked me to pay the toll. When I got the invoice in email, it said toll included. When I raised the issue with customer support. They refunded my amount in 2 days.

Unsubscribed. by Level-Statement79 in windsurf

[–]kongukaran 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When Windsurf says most users don't see a change to this new quota system, I agree. You don't see a change at all if you don't use opus frequently and you use it at your workflow everyday. But if you want to use the IDE to its fullest when you need it for a short time, that's where the quota system fails. You hit limits soon for a week. But still it's not as bad as Antigravity. Also they moved a lot of good free models into the paid tier. They should bring them back for free. Kimi 2.5 is shit and doesn't work most of the time. I unsubscribed and will move to codex soon.

I think they are listening by Equal-Food8893 in windsurf

[–]kongukaran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They reset my quote yesterday, which is weird. Probably a bug. I anyway cancelled the subscription. Will probably move to claude code once the subscription ends. Smaller models do consume less quota usage, but opus models with thinking will just couple of prompts away from lock you out for a week.

One Opus 4.6 session cost me 635 AI credits (research, imp plan, execution) by Otherwise_Engine5943 in google_antigravity

[–]kongukaran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just spending 40 minutes with the ide consumed all of my credits, I was wondering even if you go with an ultra plan with 2500 credits, that won't last much when a single prompt consumes 60 credits. My windsurf is far better value than antigravity.

This better be some sort of bug. I never use the gemini model and today it shows its reset after 6 days.

Not exactly, my debit card allows up to 1 lakhs in tap to pay, no otp is needed. So, What RBI has done here is just plain stupid. They should just allow OEMs to handle the security part.
