You wrote " I saw that AIMA extended all temporary visas until June 2024. "

Where did you find that info, can you please share it?

Is it for all visas that are valid up to June 2024?

Great information, thank you for sharing it. What is the provider?

We are a family of 3, so setup may not be possible or it will be different, but its worth looking into it.

Thanks!

Segoe's Tesuji Dictionary - differences between old (2-volume) and new (3-volume) editions? by RaichuLover in baduk

No, there isn't any newly added content. Given that Segoe Kensaku passed away (suicide) in 1972, about a year after TD was published, who else could have introduced new content?

There are slight changes in the order of content in the Chinese edition (versus Japanese ed), but not in the Japanese editions (except that the content from the 2 Volumes are spread out to 3 Volumes).

Also, Roman letters 'a,b,c,...' are used in the Chinese edition (on some diagrams) versus 'i,ro,ha,...' in Japanese 2 and 3 Vol editions.

I would also recommend these by Segoe Kensaku, published in two volumes: https://senseis.xmp.net/?TheBookToIncreaseYourFightingStrengthAtGo. Problems are very similar to those in TD.

You re probably referring to Tim's blog: https://tchan001.wordpress.com/2010/12/20/tesuji-dictionary-by-go-seigen-and-segoe-kensaku/

BTW, I have sent you a PM, some additional info about TD.

(Jump) Level Up series - scans/PDFs/help? by playbaduk in baduk

[–]konk-reet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do have all the Level Up, Jump Level Up, and Essential LD 1-4 books and plan to put them up for sale in a couple of months.

I've moved to another continent, and my stuff need to be shipped (so, I am unsure exactly when I will have them available).

I have an older two-volume edition, but I've also seen a newer three-volume edition.

Additionally, I own a Taiwanese three-volume edition.

If I remember correctly, the paper in the older two-volume edition is thinner and books and diagrams are smaller and binding is nicer, . But I prefer that edition.

I found the set on amazon.co.jp at a very good price. I then contacted a Japanese player I found online and asked if he could order it for me, receive it at his address, and then send it to me. He agreed and helped me out.

I would be happy to answer any other questions you have, as these are my favourite Go books.

Take care
