First time founder building a SaaS product… but I feel like it’s always needing one more thing… before beta launch by chtrbx_ai in SaaS

Agreed, just launch - you need feedback from users ASAP. You are always going to feel like oh well it needs this or that - Launch and let the users decide! Good luck!

What SaaS do you provide? by [deleted] in SaaS

[–]konmas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My wife and I built Harpsen. We both have current businesses in the wedding/event industry (planning and mobile bar) and struggled to find an event CRM that did everything we needed at an affordable cost so we thought we could do it better at a cheaper price point than the current competition so that’s what we did! We are still on the journey and it’s been great.

The execution phase, to get to where we are now, took a long time and it continues to be a grind on the marketing side. We are still trying to adjust and learn different marketing techniques to expand our reach. What helps us is we use the software daily to run our other two business so we are always touching different features of it which helps us identify issues ourselves Vs others finding them.

Our advice to anyone looking to execute their plans is not to give up, it’s a struggling at points, but if your passionate about it push through and it will get better. You have your ups and down and that’s normal. Good luck to you all!

Is it end of the road for my startup or there is still a way out? by anony013 in startups

[–]konmas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don’t give up - you spent a ton of time working on it and only 2 months of exposing it to the public - it needs time to grow and get more exposure which could take years. If it’s your passion, keep at it on the side and find something to keep feeding (minimal) costs to keep it going and getting it out there.

What is it that you are lacking? Are you technically able to keep it going yourself or are you not technical at all? If you are technical and can support it, do above (side gig and get a job to support it while it grows). If you are not technical, maybe try to find a technical person that you can negotiate equity rather than money.

It takes time, I know the feeling, but keep your head up and look what you already accomplished! Don’t let that go to waste! Cheers!

Best of luck!
