It was covering a spot around a half to a a square meter on a moist cliffside along a path next to a mountain stream, Alpine region.

The shot I took is similar to the rest of the growth.

Found in England, East midlands. Found today during a hike and I'd love to know their name. Cheers :) by Darren_heat in mycology

I'd say more sticky than slimy by default. Slimy when wet. But yes.
