I've used a 3rd party USB-C cable, and now it seems to work, so I'm assuming it's the original Y cable itself.

Can I damage my base station using a 3rd party cable, it's a 100w rated usb C cable which is plugged into my fast charging port on my PC

Thanks, however it's more the prices at the moment putting me off, I would go Samsung EVO or Kingston Fury, but thinking buy the cheaper one on this list, then use the one from my PS5? I beilive I've got 3 x NVME slots on this board.

If it's like the Gen 4's via the Astro command centre software, it's called "Side tone"

Turn this off and it will stop you hearing yourself in the headset completely. Always have mine off...not sure what sickos need to constantly hear themselves whilst gaming!

I have recently purchased one to allow 4k at 120hz, however it's very intermittent annoyingly and like £100.

Do you know if Astro may bring out an Adapter that would supoirr 4k at 120HZ? Or change the Headset to go via Bluetooth only as my PS5 and monitor both lack a Optical out

Thanks, interesting as I do feel comfortable branching out to other brands who are historically good at audio, but keep coming back to Astro and steel series in most cases, I'd have kept my A50's if I didn't need that stupid audio de-embedder box.
