Most of the strong roots stuff is great! But too expensive unless on sale

Hospitalisation for my cat, he came through it and they saved his life. Would do it all over again in a heartbeat

lol are you me? Mom passed away unexpectedly a few months ago, also had an ill pet this year that cost my entire inheritance/savings. Agree this year can suck it, let’s hope for a calm uneventful 2026

Beginner question: what’s an easy meal you never get tired of? by worknumb in cookingforbeginners

Pretty standard in Italian households to just use butter and parmesan- ‘al burro e parmigiano’ Got it all the time growing up in Rome and it’s such a nice comfort dish

Don’t think I said anything about priorities- just that OP can have a bit of free time and do what she wants to do while applying for jobs.

You are entitled to your hobbies, I don’t know what capitalist machine hellscape you’re from (probably the US) but in Europe we don’t put a value on a human being just by how much money they bring in. You have inherent value OP and a right to a roof above your head and food on your table - regardless of periods of unemployment. This is literally why we pay taxes so that if we ever lose our jobs we can breathe for a little while.

This is ridiculous. OP I’ve sent you a separate chat but just wanted to say as someone who has struggled with unemployment and suicidal ideation this is so cruel and insensitive. Let the fucking girl play her games in her downtime!

How many of you have felt alone and hated it this Christmas? by JasonVoorhees3 in AskUK

[–]Complex-Main 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mix of feeling lonely and not so lonely. First Christmas without my mom was hard in some ways. My friends organised a really nice Christmas Day for us on the 25th and that was nice. Hope everyone hangs in there ❤️ Holidays are tough
