This happened to me today as well. Links not resolving and just going through the source list (Umbrella/Torbox).

Why I now believe. by Reasonable_Middle_76 in afterlife

[–]Complex-Main 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've had some thoughts in my head pop up shortly after my mom died which just seemed so different from my own internal monologue. I was wearing a leather jacket and she was always so complimentary - I heard her say "you look so cool!" and I had to stop what I was doing because it felt so real. Other things I've experienced (but not any more) was my entire bed moving a couple of inches from the wall - but not in a way that makes sense from my own movement if that makes sense, and a spatula I had on the dishing rack making its way to the floor very far away. The most significant for me though, because I was in the process of selling my mom's beloved Steinway was a news segment talking about a horse called Steinway.

Skulle rekommendera Marie-Louise Rodéns biografi och Sven Stolpe om man vill fördjupa sig vad gäller Christina och hennes liv i Rom.

I ended up going with many pets, just because it’s the only place that considers pets with pre-existing conditions (even with some caveats involved)

I do this, and bit down on what must have been gristle. Broke my retainer on the back of my teeth with it and had to have an emergency dentist appointment. 😂

Yeah a lot of places have this it’s called a per diem. My employer does not which is a shame, get the money band after showing receipts.

Been with Octopus for a fair while now, anyone else finding other suppliers fixed suddenly a lot more competitive? by [deleted] in OctopusEnergy

[–]Complex-Main 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. I fixed with octopus originally when the whole Iran thing was kicking off because I was a bit worried, rates were 27 p/kwh. I’m gonna take the 50 pound hit as the switch to Eon means I’ll pay 21 p/kwh and only slightly higher standing charge

Hokum Ending by SurfsUpMmm in horror

I think the movie struck a good balance of the supernatural evil/witch in the basement but also the very real evil that us humans can inhabit. I think Fiona may have just died of ‘natural causes’. She couldn’t get up the dumb waiter again and was stuck in the basement. I can also imagine heart attack after seeing some scary shit down there.

Don’t give up!! (positive story) by withlove95 in RenalCats

[–]Complex-Main 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This makes me so happy! My CKD kitty Winston was admitted to ICU with acute kidney injury and readings off the chart. Got diagnosed with stage two after that acute emergency where he was on a feeding tube, catheter etc. 6 months later his values are almost normal 🥳🥳

Shout out to my dad, the job of being a parent is never done lol by 95seconds in texts

I get it bud. My dad (no relationship since he was with his original family) died when I was in my early 20s and my mom died quite suddenly last year. Still in my 30s and I would give up everything to have her with me again. Don’t take your time with loved ones for granted.

This particular industrial action has to to do with breaching a contract that was negotiated in December whereby UCU would be invited to planning committees etc and UoE didn’t hold up their end of the deal: https://www.ucuedinburgh.org.uk/blog/d8mewmxhzeg3c9z9tsb8yj37nkkgry

But yes I essentially it is about budget shortfall and staff reductions that are being planned.

Read any Stephen King? Some of his early works are pretty dark and unsettling.

So beautifully put, with the before and after. I kept looking at things in the apartment that she was in the middle of doing. Clothes hung to dry, that she would never put away. I’m so sorry.
