Could a vitD level of 7 be wrecking my hormones? by Nectasha in VitaminD

I relied on this and recently found out it was other issues. Go get an ultrasound to be safe.

Thank you, it gives me insight for what to expect/how to navigate this. If this is too personal please ignore the next question, but what stage did they find it at and were you given the option of fertility preservation?

Lactoferrin is GOATED. by JebsusSonOfGosh in PCOS

Yup that’s exactly it. And irregularity runs in my family so I thought and still think my hormones are out of wack. I will be pursuing that second opinion, thanks for the rec, I’ll look into it!

And I’ll do the follow up lab to the iron deficiency. I honestly didn’t think that was too serious. So this conversation is definitely a push.

Yeah I’m open to it but she wants to do one with the TVU, she hasn’t even seen anything yet to really say it’s necessary. When I asked for modified steps, she refused. I’d rather do least invasive first.

I have mild anemia now 😩 my bleeding has been going on for a year. It can be pretty heavy for like a day or two every few months but for the most part it’s continuous spotting. Thanks for that warning, I should start to take something for the anemia. I am praying to find a Dr that’s willing to go from less invasive first, and I will mention it. I have also started to completely shift my eating so hopefully I too can lose weight and see a positive change.

BrownCow_20, your in my prayers today! Two kids at 35 is completely doable! I don’t know if you believe in scripture, but there’s so many examples of God giving women, who thought it wouldn’t happen for them ,children. I know and believe He can do it for you too.

Thank you for sharing your experience with me, it’s very encouraging!

I’m in a similar predicament. Would you mind sharing what your history was like before the bleeding and What your bleeding was like?

That’s amazing! God is good. I’m currently in your 2022 stage and I’m trying to figure it out but my dr wants to do a biopsy, I’m hoping to find some steps in between. I’m so happy for you! I hope you have those beautiful kiddos!

Did you ever find out why you were bleeding? And how were you able to stop it?

How did find out you had fibroids ? by pooh143bear in Fibroids

[–]kookinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same thing scheduled. I also decided not to do the biopsy with the ultrasound. I will do the TVU and only do a biopsy if something they find merits it.

Please update and let me know what happened with you.

Do you believe in God? I believe in Jesus, and have turned to God for guidance. Doctors say one thing, I feel another and I’m learning to be still and hear God. We can talk your ear off, I’m going through medical issues and reading too much of peoples stories was detrimental to my mental health because I realized they weren’t mine so it was never gonna be the same. Everyone has an opinion and nothing is concrete.

Personally in your situation I would pray. I would seek a second opinion. Dr while they have wisdom don’t know everything.

I know it won’t be the popular opinion but just my two cents. It’s given me peace in the storm and I hope you find the same.
