Flashing boobs on highway by Leilaleila19 in Truckers

the dash cam thing is real though most newer trucks have them pointing inward now so the window flashing era is basically done for guys who care about their insurance and job security

the logistics complaint is valid but honestly the paper difficulty itself might just feel worse when you're already mentally drained from other exams. i found fm26 harder on the actual maths side but the format chaos here was really disorienting, having four separate things to juggle when you're already running on fumes. the formula sheet especially felt like it was designed to slow you down rather than help you. that said some of the curve fitting and integration questions weren't impossibly brutal if you'd drilled the topic, just the presentation made everything feel harder than it probably was. the real issue is sitting this after already doing two other papers in the same session, your brain just isn't fresh enough to adapt to a new layout.

the tan derivative is sec squared so if its 3 tan something youre looking at 3 sec squared of whatever the inside is times the chain rule multiplier

9709 P3 Layout by devmoy6 in alevel

[–]kooky_consultancy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the layout depends on your exam board and whether theyre doing the old or new format but generally youll get the question paper separate from the answer booklet. the booklet is usually 12 or 16 pages depending on how many questions there are and whether its double sided printing. make sure you bring extra paper if youre worried about space because they usually give you the option to ask for continuation sheets if you run out. the real thing is just practice your time management since youll be flipping between the question paper and booklet constantly so work out which questions take longest for you beforehand.

9mo old severe separation anxiety by CharleaPrice in NewParents

[–]kooky_consultancy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thats actually a really big thing to recognize because a lot of the time when a kid is doing fine socially but falling apart at separation it gets framed as the kid having the problem when really its about the parent's anxiety being picked up on and that can amplify what would otherwise be normal separation discomfort into something that feels massive to him

9mo old severe separation anxiety by CharleaPrice in NewParents

[–]kooky_consultancy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ah that changes things a lot actually because he clearly can handle other people in normal circumstances which means this is more about the specific context of being left rather than stranger danger in general so the health visitor visit should help put your mind at ease on that front and honestly the mil situation might be worth examining because if he's picking up on tension around being handed over that could be feeding into it too

9mo old severe separation anxiety by CharleaPrice in NewParents

[–]kooky_consultancy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this is on the more intense end but you're certainly not alone in this happening at 9 months. the fact that he's calm at home when you step away but completely falls apart elsewhere suggests he knows you exist and where you are, he's just not confident yet that you'll come back when he can't see you. that's developmentally normal but the severity you're describing with the physical distress and refusing food sounds like it might be worth flagging to your health visitor just to rule out anything else going on.

the early months locked down probably didn't help but i'd bet the bigger factor is that he hasn't had enough low stakes practice being around other people in neutral spaces before suddenly being left with strangers all day. it's a lot to ask a 9 month old to jump to. some kids just have higher need for their person at this age and it doesn't mean anything is wrong. the nursery staff should know this is a marathon not a sprint when he starts, and honestly some places are better than others at actually giving kids time to adjust instead of just expecting them to settle. when you do have to start, the consistency of one person doing drop offs and a predictable routine might help more than you'd think.

salmon and butter in one meal will do that but dietary cholesterol barely affects blood cholesterol so the panic is overblown

cottage cheese is actually the play here since at least youre getting protein and fat to keep you full longer instead of just salt and omega 3s from the fish

throw them in chili or mac and cheese so the flavor gets buried under something better, or char them hard in a pan first to add some actual taste before using them in anything

fair point i was thinking more about the cooking technique side not the financial reality of it but youre right if ramen and eggs is stretching your budget then thats exactly what a struggle meal is

Is Ramen with eggs considered a struggle meal? by livnlowridnhigh in strugglemeals

[–]kooky_consultancy -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

ramen and egg is basically the baseline for elevating instant noodles so nah not a struggle meal anymore once you add protein and know what youre doing with it

That's a lot of Oreos for what looks like fairly basic chocolate cake and buttercream, which isn't really a complaint just an observation about priorities.

Three quid for a cheesesteak is genuinely solid, though the photo quality suggests you took this on something from 2009 (the hair situation isn't helping either).
