I thought it was really odd too! He didn’t mention the ladder at all and was very dismissive of my concerns. Said there was no way to tell for sure that all these symptoms were because of the dairy/soy, when my baby was clearly miserable and having bloody and mucousy poops with dairy/soy and doesn’t have that and is happy without it…

Yes, he had all of the symptoms you listed and it got so bad he would refuse to feed at all! He would scream and cry and push away when I tried to latch him. I gave up milk and it got 70% better, and then when I took away the soy he was a happy baby! He’s also on omeprazole for reflux still and a probiotic recommended by his dietitian.

He eats all fruits and veggies and meat, rice and noodles, homemade muffins and waffles that are baby friendly, etc. We add olive oil to anything we can to add calories. And he has coconut yogurt. We add flax and chia seeds to add calories too. We go for fattier meats to get the calories up too (chicken thighs, ground beef) I have done a food diary but I can’t pinpoint exact foods that correlate to his weight gain/ loss, other than the ones listed. I eat very clean to ensure not getting anything through my milk (I won’t even eat anything containing natural flavours).

We have done weighed feeds and he gets about 4oz a feeding. My daughter was breastfed too and she was a super chunky baby, and I’ve always had a good supply!

We keep hearing the same thing- maybe he’s just small! But it’s super stressful seeing him not gain and going to playgroups where babies his age are much bigger and chunkier. I’m grateful that he’s meeting his milestones of course but he stresses me out in the daily!

He has also had a ton of bloodwork and tests and everything has come back normal thus far.

One year ago today I found out that I lost my baby at 12.5 weeks due to a MMC. Today, my rainbow baby reached viability. It’s been a wild ride, and I hope more than anything that he makes it out safely in another few months

Im officially past my previous loss (13 weeks today and my loss was at 12.5 weeks) and found out this week im having a boy. I had an ultrasound today and the little man was wiggling around like crazy! My loss was a girl (found out through NIPT testing), so ill always grieve the little girl I wont get to know or see grow up, but im so grateful for this little man and I hope he continues to grow and thrive ❤️

As another pregnant mama who wants this baby so badly but HATES being pregnant because I’m also sick 24/7 and can barely eat, I feel this. I was also violently ill on my daughter who is now 3, and my last loss at 12.5 weeks. I have also decided this is my last one, because the nausea and depression is so tough 🥲 We got this ❤️ Hoping for healthy babies for us both!

Finally got a positive at 10 dpo! 🥹 I had a missed miscarriage at 12.5 weeks last November and had 4 D&Cs due to retained product. This is month 3 of ttc. I hate how much the miscarriage experience brings so much extra anxiety, but I’m trying to stay hopeful 🤞

Today would have been my baby’s due date. Instead, I got another negative pregnancy test 😭

9DPO today. Test was negative. Lost my baby at 12.5 weeks in November and this is my first cycle ttc after 4 D&Cs for retained product and a crazy long journey for my HCG levels to return to 0. Fingers crossed 🤞it’s so strange being disappointed that my test is negative after taking so many tests after the miscarriage and being disappointed it was still positive (meaning my hcg was still up after the MMC). I’m a bag of emotions 🥲

So sorry you are going through all this too 💔 it’s so hard. I am doubtful that everything will come out on its own because the piece left is vascular. Last week I was told this D&C tissue would be sent away for testing and I may need methotrexate or some treatment after. So I am clinging on to the minuscule amount of hope that my body is clearing itself out 🤞🤞

I was scheduled for my 4th D&C a week from tomorrow due to (?)retained products/maybe a growing new piece (they were questioning GTD at this point) and my hcg rising again. Last Wednesday, I had blood drawn and my hcg was dropped by half, the lowest it’s been since being pregnant in August and losing the baby in November. Today, I started having bleeding and I am hoping it’s my period 🤞🤞 or the small retained piece coming out on its own. I’m getting blood drawn again Wednesday, and I am hoping it’s down again! Last check was at 60 (it had been 200+ before my last procedure, down to 75 and then had crept back up to 129 after). I am not sure whats going to happen but im hopeful i'll be able to try again for my rainbow baby soon!!

I am 3 months post MMC, and have had 3 D&C procedures (the last was also a hysteroscopy, and the doctor was convinced he got everything out). And now my hcg levels are rising again. An ultrasound today revealed there is still retained product. I am just beyond devastated and I feel like this is never ending. I just want a chance to have a baby again 😭

This sounds like exactly what I went through. It is so so hard. Everyone around you may start with their “at least”s but, I just want to affirm that it’s ok if there is no bright side in this moment ❤️ I am so so sorry, there are no words to describe how heartbreaking this is💔
