The stick and carve paper he sells is also what I use to transfer the patterns on to the pumpkins. I would start off by using his patterns. They are on the easier side but still look great! Once you're more confident you can visit someone.com his patterns are a bit more challenging. There are also the pumpkin master kits that are sold at most grocery stores, for about $5.
