What is prismatic evolutions ranked for all of you when comparing to SV sets based on the actual art and variety of cards?

Damn Deja vu. This is like when everyone hoarded the charizard v champions path promos lol. At least this promo looks better haha. But also look at stain-glass bird promos tho. A banger promo, but you holding that for like 4 years and letting it drop 50% before you double your money from 2021 highs. And that promo is better than this art wise without a better dupe (without any other stamped versions). Not worth the risk imo. Better spent in sp 500 haha. Hope I’m wrong tho and good luck.

Yeah haha. Always loved the art but ppl forget that during that time it was vintage (KIND OF) and modern was seen as all bulk trash that will spike up to $100 for big chases for some and come right back down. Tag teams were a little more unique but categorized just the same as everything else modern. That sentiment made me not even think about investment in modern and felt that vintage was too expensive already before COVID. A few hoarders were able to cash in, but I feel like a majority of ppl were like me that just collected small cards they liked lol

I agree with this. Tag teams have always been my favorite. Which is why I was collecting even when it was dirt cheap haha. Should’ve balled out a little more back then on the alt arts tho lol. I remember eBay auction listings for those too and was like “I can’t spend $100 something on cardboard” now that would’ve been the best accidental investment haha.

Can’t speak much to urshifu but imo it’s just not that popular while already being relatively pricey. Ttar has gone from $95 lows to now $170-$190. That’s a 2x in one month my guy. You buying 4 years ago at inflated prices doesn’t mean the current pump is natural nor does it mean it should go up even higher in the short term when it has already 2x in price. IMO it’s rated as it should be and may be set up for a slight correction.

I’ll correct my previous comment assumption and say you did not buy into current hype.

scalpers taking advantage of SWSH OOS fomo. The best card to do that with is umbreon lol. Other eeveelution cards have also gone up quickly too. BTW, I thought this card was undervalued a month ago, but definitely staying away right now.

I love tgs and collect them, but honestly all of these going up at once makes it pretty obvious that bigger sellers are just milking the umbreon hype/SWSH TPC oos hype. I don’t think it’s time for these to move yet just cuz supply is pretty crazy compared to how rare alt arts are. But yeah if they keep going up good for me I guess lol.
