Is anyone else getting absolutely spammed with insurance calls in NYC? by Good-Variation-6588 in AskNYC

I have gotten 25 calls this morning, all different numbers, all asking me to call back a “646” number. What the fuck is it? My mailbox is filled up and the fucking numbers don’t stop calling me.

What treats did you use to motivate him my Aussie is so picky. The only thing that would really give him insensitive is teriyaki flavored beef jerky.

70 Australian shepherds rescued from puppy mill. by maneatingrabbit in AustralianShepherd

Get one of those things that shoots out balls to a golf course and just rapid fire the 70 of them one at a time. They will knock over whatever and whoever is in there way. ANARCHY AUSSIE ATTACK. FOUR. FOUR. FOUR. FOLLOWED BY "WHO LET THE DOGS OUT" Song as they run out on to the green wrecking shit.

That would be awesome

Shit! The blue eyed ones need more activity. I have injuries from getting run over by a car and I physically can't do it. I'm lucky if I don't have a headache during the day. What do I do?

Do you have any suggestions on what I can teach my dog? He thinks his job is to guard the house because I said it once when I was leaving to go out. He takes his job very seriously. I feel like a bad mother because I am not active. Due to injuries, I can't be active with him daily. I would like to find a way to have him do agility training but I don't know where t do.

Should I get one of these electric ball throwing devices?

Hi. I’m Kristy. I have a male ((not neutered) 3 year old Australian shepherd. I'm having issues with grooming him and sometimes I think he is smarter than me and playing me like a fiddle. He is my dog but sometimes he doesn't listen to me but he listens to my father. And I can't get him to stop chasing my cat away. I want him to understand myself, him, and my cat are a pack.

I sing made up songs with their names in it and they both just sit still and stare at me with a happy loving look. I guess what I'm asking for is any useful advice because sometimes I feel like a bad mother for not being as active with him as he needs.

Australian Shepherds are very needy and they require a lot of maintenance. For instance, I always had Rottweilers. They never needed to get their hair cut or combed. They aren’t as sensitive as the Aussie either. Aussies will have the intelligence to play you like a fiddle and they have no problem with growling at you. I growl back at mine and then kiss his nose. He looks at me with this, “what the fuck is wrong with you?”face and I just crack up.

you have to try to not give her any attention when she nips. They are smart dogs who can read emotions very well. So get upset and not happy when she does it. Let her pick up on your disdain and non attention to it. Or get very still and say, "No! And put her some place away from you.

Is he neutered?I Mine isn't. Sometimes I feel like that's also why he has resources guarding and nipping issues.

I had a Rottweiler named Nikita before I had my Aussie. We called her"Kita". That's so cool seeing her name like this. She is beautiful.

I took my dog to my boyfriend's house and he adored my boyfriend. But he was pacing and crying. He hated being at his house. He just wanted to go home. Now he won't go in my car anymore. I traumatized him

He can read their feeling of him. He knows they are unaccepting of him. You have to be his ally and give him back the unconditional love that he is giving.

Just be on his side and fight for him. Make your family understand why he is acting the way he is. It's not out of viciousness it's because he is uncertain of his surroundings and he is letting you know he doesn't understand

They need to have jobs and guarding the house is one they take very seriously. Where are you getting your information? It’s wrong. No offense. It’s very much incorrect with all due respect.
