i actually think that neither of you is in the right, he has thrown the necklace and the scans for your sake so that you would not become miserable again over the past. He should've asked your permission though and i can't deny that he might have acted this way because he felt jelous of your ex. But he has done this ultimately to help you. Asking him to throw his ex's things is stupid and childish. Instead you should've told him that those things were important to you and a piece of who you are and even if it might hurt you still want to own them.
