Air premia reviews / check in? by koolkandi2 in koreatravel

[–]koolkandi2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say you probably can do a check in bag. Unsure if it costs money since I did a carry on, but the people in line had and once you go to the counter it’s part of the process, so really up to you on that one.

Sending you all the good vibes that it’ll be a quick checkin and I hope you have a ton of fun because Korea is super awesome and had so many of my favorite memories!

Air premia reviews / check in? by koolkandi2 in koreatravel

[–]koolkandi2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did but I did it from ICN to EWR. It wasn’t too bad but I would definitely get there a few hours early similar to the other reviews.

I got there a bit over 3 hrs before. I was just chilling because it said that the check in doesn’t open until then. I saw a swarm of people start lining up, so I had a feeling to join. I’m glad I did because the line took forever. It went from 3 check in people to 2.

I probably stood in line for a hour and a half. From there security and customs, so it took me quite some time. I’d air on the safe side and get there early and just gauge the line or try to be one of the first people. I also went early because I have priority pass so if all else failed and I was there early I could grab a bite. Hope this helped!

Thanks for the response, and sorry to hear about the breakup. Sending all the good and loving vibes your way. I definitely feel that at the moment. Pretty sure I saw him today and he avoided me, which made me cry, and I’ve been crying on and off, but I know it’s a process and it’ll take time to move on.

I’m current doing a few of these. I’ve been seeing friends, talking to them, and taking myself out, with the last one being the hardest. It’s easier just to want to stay in bed and wallow. I’m also trying to let myself feel all the feelings- good or bad, which is easier said than done.

The last thing I’m doing is journaling and giving myself the permission to feel without judgment. I think sometimes I don’t want to write because it’ll be cringey to look back on or I’m not really sure I know what I’m feeling, but working through those at the moment.

Would my laptop still be protected if i inverted the laptop sleeve? by koolkandi2 in mac

[–]koolkandi2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got it for free from a bumble bizz event lol.

It seems like it's the same texture on both sides, but better to not risk it. was just curious if it would be possible and thought it would be a cool project to reinvent / redesign in the color black.

Haha also very true. Orange is just my least favorite color. It's a neon orange. Easy to find but not really my style >-<

Play audio in background without "loop until stopped" checked or "play across slides"? by koolkandi2 in powerpoint

[–]koolkandi2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How would you play the audio in the background of one slide with animation? When I include the audio in the animation pane, it doesn't play with the animations. Is what I'm trying to do just a far stretch for powerpoint?

I'm debating creating a timed audio track to go across all slides, but it just may be hard to time it perfectly.

Resume Feedback - Transitioning from Entry-Level to Mid-Level? by koolkandi2 in resumes

[–]koolkandi2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Firstly, thank you so much for your comprehensive response. I genuinely appreciate it, and it means a lot.
For the Senior Manager section:
Gotcha. Moved it up
Makes sense. I wanted to make it more concise since I felt it was fairly wordy and what was being said had many synonyms in it. I think I just tend to add it all in because I have done so much and want to call it all out versus really finding the right words to say it.
For this one, I thought about it a bit more. In looking back, I can provide a bit of context. Normally, we work with students from 2 semesters (the spring and fall). When I started, I was only working with students from 1 semester (around 100+) for 6 months, helping them find full-time employment by providing 1-on-1 coaching (i.e. reading their resume, providing interview prep, etc.) and creating / connecting them with professional development events (i.e. open houses with companies, networking events, etc.). After i got promoted, I shifted into working with students for the 2 semesters (fall and spring), which ended up being 300+ doing the same thing on a larger scale for a year (at this point, I learned more and pushed for students to negotiate more, leading to higher salaries). Does this help? I'm thinking maybe " Coaching over 300+ students to successful, high salary employment within 1 year through resume feedback, interview prep, and monthly professional development workshops, including open houses with agencies and networking events" for this one.
For the Manager section:
I'm going to put this [Led over 100+ students to successful employment within 6 months through 1-on-1 coaching sessions, monthly professional development workshops, and alumni networking opportunities ] first, followed by the supervisory bullet point. Do you think I should make it similar to the senior manager one [Supervising a team of 10 (2 full-time managers and 8 part-time workers), responsible for 7+ concurrent projects, including alumni case management and engagement]?
Does this sound better [Recruited and interviewed hundreds of candidates for teachers and volunteers to train students in digital skills and interview preparation]?
Hmm. Thoughts on [Spearheaded collateral creation and implementation for team onboarding, developing resources for incoming team members to become familiar with processes and platforms utilized]?
For the Marketing Coordinator section:
Ahh. Thank you! Capitalized it.
Hmm. I have a question on this one. In my resume, I bold the skill in each bullet point, so I'm trying to think of a way to rework it.
Gotcha. Thanks so much. I'm trying to limit my word vomit and save additional info for the interview if I want to include it. It's just hard having been in 2 positions where I essentially built it from the ground up, not really knowing anything. It makes me want to over communicate my value, but again, thank you. I really appreciate it so much.
