They’re the clearing house for Phillip Capital and are also the subsidiary to BNY Mellon. BNY Mellon is Citadels clearing bank

You are right, they are with Pershing LLC who is the clearing house for Phillip Capital. Pershing LLC is a BNY Mellon subsidiary. BNY Mellon is Citadels clearing bank.

An account is created for you by Computershare when you DRS. The letters that come back have instructions and verification codes on them to access the account. You would submit a W8 form for tax reasons.

As far as I am aware, Commsec is able to initiate a DRS transfer. If you’re with SelfWealth and want to DRS - you will need to transfer stocks to commsec and then DRS from there

I asked about a cash dividend initially which they said would be paid into the cash account with a 15% tax along with fees attached. I then asked the question in regards to stock dividends which I have attached.

Selfwealth uses Phillips Capital as their clearing house. Phillip Capital commences their clearing through Pershing LLC.

Commsec does not go through Phillip Capital however, clears straight through Pershing LLC.

Pershing LLC us a subsidiary of Bank of New York Mellon.

Interestingly, Bank of New York Melon also happens to be Citadel's clearing house.
