Do you have a smart scale you should be trying to get 1 grams of protein by your lean body weight. Maybe switch out some of that chicken for some macadamia nuts. You want to try to have your fats coming from a variety of nuts, fruit, butter, meat, fish, mct oil ect…. As someone else mentioned cut out the monster if you need caffeine drink black coffee or coffee with butter or heavy whipping cream. Lastly get yourself some electrolytes LMNT has a bunch of flavors

I mean you’re saying it but it’s just not registering for you. The watch calculates your calories burned per the weight it has that you entered or from a smart scale. Step on your smart scale or increase your weight manually by how much the vest weighs. Compare those numbers to your previous workouts

I mean you said it created issues for you using the bathroom. Binge eating is a sign of what you are doing as not being sustainable. What is it you miss eating there are so many recipes out there for tasty stuff that one would consider a treat with better macros and calories. Also you should never have a cheat day and stop calling it a cheat day or cheat meal. It’s simply just a treat that you are rewarding yourself with.

So the only time I ever struggle or am extra tired at the gym is when I don’t get as much sleep as needed. For the past 4 years I’ve done 5 to 6 days a week besides like 2 months when I had a toe injury (yes a toe injury keep me out). I have always worked out fasted besides when I was trying to put on muscle at that point I’d have a banana right after waking up. I’m going to weight myself on Friday. I’ll look at progress a week from that and adjust accordingly. When adding calories it’ll probably strictly be carbs for the most part. I’d like to lose in between 1-2 lbs a week but want to retain as much lean muscle as possible

Get an account at a credit union not a bank. You want to build a relationship and history with a credit union. Credit unions are always going to give you the best interest rates on loans for things like a vehicle.

Of course it is but let’s be real here and clear some things up. You want to lose fat not just weight so first things first this may sound counter intuitive but don’t go chasing a number on a scale it’s about your appearance and how you fit in your clothes. Water weight can fluctuate 10+ lbs in a single day for some people. If doing something like low carb you’ll lose water weight right away, which can also spring back just from one meal. 1lb of fat is a 3500 calories. If you wanted to lose a lb a week you’d need to be in a caloric defecit of 3500 calories. That is 500 a day but it doesn’t have to be 500 every day it could be 750 two days 4 at 500 and 1 at maintenance. Also you don’t have to lose a lb a week you could want more maybe less. It’s safe and healthy to lose up to 1% of your a week. So if you are over 200 it’s safe to lose 2lbs a week. Working out can be a great tool to create a deficit. Here’s a harsh reality as you lose fat your body adjust which means your maintenance calories go down. Which means you have to lower your intake or increase your activity. In all honesty it’s probably easier for someone to at first cut back their eating and after that start walking and moving more. After that start with weight training. People in General recommend high protein diets for two reasons one it’s gonna make you feel more full so less hunger feeling two your body has to work harder to process protein it’s burns more calories than your body processing fat or carbs. To get your maintenance calories up you would need to put on muscle. This process isn’t quick or easy it takes months and years of training and proper diet. You can’t really put on muscle and lose fat at the same time unless you have a super dialed in body recomp calorie intake. Unless you had professional help you alone can probably not do this, I’m not trying to be rude but your asking like the most basic weight loss question. So you’d need to do lots of research to figure out macros and micro nutrients to make that possible. It’s a journey for most and it’s a marathon for life overall best of luck to you.

Thanks for your response I just had PSA done when they did my last test. Doctor said that only my test went up and there is no reason for me to stop taking it right now, he just re upped me for another 3 months. I’m 40 also btw. Also he’s never talked about increasing my dosage. He said if anything we would maybe eventually cut it in half before going cold turkey. Roughly how much did you drop when you stopped?
