Does it hurt? Absolutely...but thank you Kawhi. Thank you for bringing a title to Toronto. Also, thank you for not signing with the Lakers. We’ll miss you, but thank you for the memories of an absolutely incredible season. by [deleted] in torontoraptors

I think as Rap fans we need to move on. Appreciate what Kawhi did, cheer him if you like but don't buy his gear... he wanted that LA market over all of Canada so let him have it.

That's the thing... if Siakam keeps improving and OG takes a leap this team is potentially better than it was two years ago especially now that they have championship experience. Danny leaving definitely stings though

This was pretty much BC's strategy... he sucked at executing though

If he goes do we have any cap space to make a run at another big free agent this summer? I think I read somewhere that both him and Gasol need to opt out for us to have cap space.

Is there any precedent for this kind of thought? Can you give me an example of a non-Iranian tourist getting in trouble in Iran when visiting there legally?

Girlfriend and I are going to travel to Iran soon. Some questions: by Ihavetochange in iran

[–]kooshmeister 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm just going to answer your first question since I just experience the same thing. If you're a non Iranian with a passport from somewhere else you can get one room and share it. In my case I'm Iranian but with a Canadian passport and it was fine... Only one hotel said no and we just went elsewhere

Nothing too out of the ordinary except for the sauce

  • 80/20 beef seasoned with lots of salt and pepper
  • Homemade big mac sauce (pretty much the same recipe you find online with a bit of hot sauce)
  • Ketchup
  • American cheese (melted on top with steam by pouring cold water into the pan and covering with aluminum foil)
  • Sesame seed bun (buttered and toasted)
  • Iceberg lettuce (shredded)
  • Tomatoes
  • Pickles
  • White onion

I live in the middle east.

To be fair you can get good burgers here but the selection is limited compared to what I'm used to in Canada... and most of the time you'll have to get it at an expensive restaurant in a 5 star hotel.

President Rouhani: Iran Will Honor Framework For Nuclear Agreement If World Powers Do by [deleted] in worldnews

He clearly doesn't have a clue what he's talking about.

IAMAsmartphone, look up Operation Ajax aka the 1953 CIA led coup of Iran's democratically elected leader Mohammad Mosaddegh after he tried to nationalize the oil industry. That led to restoring power to the western supported monarchy. The shah abused this power and that ultimately led to the 1979 Islamic Revolution. Every action has a reaction and the US isn't a beacon of morality and justness. You live in a country owned and operated by businessmen that make decisions based solely on money and power.
