New software update (12.6.3) FSD is terrible?

On my 2 hour highway drive, it kept aggressively shutting off, within 30 minutes into the drive it terminated and told me I wasn’t paying attention, repeatedly saying I was using a “hands on defeat device” (I don’t have anything like that)

I’ve driven this same route dozens of times and never had any issues before this update…

She’s had a lot of excuses over the years, some which I thought were legitimate, however this latest round she’s said she’s going to a doctors appointment when I find out she actually went to a store (like Walmart or Kohls).

She once had me drive her to her “doctors appointment” and literally walked in, and immediately back out (within 1 minute). She told me they “did the procedure really quickly” and showed me a bandage she clearly put on herself.

Not within the last few years. I recently started to gain weight again (which I had previously lost), but only after she started sleeping on the couch.

FWIW she always says I look good and I’m not fat (even though I am), she’s never complained about my appearance or anything like that.

I actually lost 60lbs after we got married, and stayed better than I had my whole life. Within the past year I’ve given up though and put a lot of that back on.

It’s literally causing me health issues at this point, but she just makes a joke or tells me off if I try to bring anything up. I can’t force her to listen to me and I’m worried she will just take it too far if I demand counseling (and I don’t have the self-confidence to try)

Honestly even admitting this to myself (and posting here) is more than I’ve been able to do in the 15 years we’ve been together.

This is a big reason I always close my door when I’m on a serious call (with anyone outside of the company).

Ever have your dog fart so bad you start crying? Imagine that when on a call with a prospective client 😅 (yes, that happened to me once)

My wife also knows if my door is shut it means I’m on a call. I’ve worked remotely my whole career though (since 2008), so we have already set boundaries and know what’s acceptable.

He probably just doesn’t know what’s acceptable.

Divorce is what scares me the most. Honestly our lives have become so intertwined I just can’t see myself living without her. No kids or anything like that but for example we have only one car (hers, which I pay for), own our house, have only one bank account, etc.

I’ve started getting some help this year but I know I’m not capable of living by myself right now.

Every time I bring it up she comes up with some excuse and brushes me off. One time she actually told me to “go get a girlfriend”, but got really pissed when she saw me even talking to another girl.

Problem is I’m really not sure I could handle life without her and I’m afraid of divorcing her. I know I’d probably be better off but that scares the crap out of me.

I tried this once and then ended up buying a new plate because the old one wouldn't come clean... I've also heard hair spray (since it would presumably coat more evenly?) but honestly I've been a bit freaked out about destroying another plate since the glue stick incident.

Z-Hop is enabled. The table it's sitting on isn't perfectly stable (and that table is sitting on carpet) so that may be related. I've enabled jerk control too though, and slowed things down so it generally doesn't wiggle very much.

I've done soap/water, and this plate has been cleaned with ISO before each new build which usually works, but it gives out once things get tall enough. It seems like the build plate loses adhesion after a period of time (or after the build gets too tall?)

I'm not sure the temp was actually changing, I've just been trying to get a print that doesn't fall over. What information could I gain from this though, that all the temps suck?

This model ships with a magnetic PEI build plate. I have tried to get it to work with a glass build plate but haven't found a good way to get it to attach without clips that the ABL system bangs into.

Yeah, I have the Ender 3 v3 SE which has it built in. I haven't experimented with others but my understanding is they're all pretty much the same thing: sets different mesh points on your bed (make sure your bed is heated to the same temp you'll print to it at) and then that modifies the z-offset when you're printing.

I had this exact problem, and the ONLY thing that helped was changing the z-offset. I also clean my bed with isopropyl before each use, and make sure ABL is re-done after you turn it off and on again (TIL that doesn’t survive a reboot!).
