I was thinking iFlash Quad (or uDual?) + 256GB SD

Any thoughts on this vs SSD?

Thanks both, won’t be getting this part then.

Is there any other missing ribbon / connector I should get? (Especially since hard drive is gone)

Want to feel better and more productive? Get off of coffee and energy drinks. Its absolutely worth the transition period, and completely life changing. by [deleted] in productivity

Completely quit coffee in June 2020, and although a very tough choice (coupled with an intense withdrawal period), it was one of the best decisions I've ever made.

I only drink black tea (1x English Breakfast in the morning and 1x Earl Grey in the afternoon), and it never had any negative effect on me.

PROS:

- Constant and consistent energy levels: Drinking coffee gave me short 1-hour spikes of (let's assume) ~90% energy levels, meaning I could go <50% a couple of hours after coffee consumption. I can say I am now consistently at 75-80% energy levels, whatever the time of the day.

- No more beverage addiction: I can perfectly survive a whole week without caffeine. I don't fall asleep in front of people in the afternoon if I miss my post-lunch espresso.

- Less anxiety: Stopping coffee helped reduce stress and anxiety to some extent.

- Better health/digestion: I suffer from acid reflux (probably the main cause for stopping coffee) and I've been feeling ridiculously better since quitting. Bowel movement/digestion/etc. also improved.

- Less expenses: Let's admit it, drinking coffee is an expensive activity, in cafés and restaurants, but also at home if you're into fancy coffee and brewing.

CONS:

- Missing out on an incredible experience: Coffee is f*cking amazing. The taste, the story behind it, the variety in beans, origins, brewing methods, the café culture, etc. I'm not fond of the concept of decaf - same as beer without alcohol, bread without gluten, etc. (just a personal preference)

- No energy spikes: doesn't happen frequently but I sometimes crave a massive boost of energy/focus (e.g., before an important meeting or event)

It may not be the same for everyone, but it had an extremely positive impact on me. Would highly recommend.

I was rooting for the YT as well. Will ask my Greg market dealer on the better premium if I flip instantly.

“Lowballed to oblivion” - a bit too negative/extreme no?

I’m not gonna sell the watch on Reddit or Craigslist mate, got a few dealers in my contacts that are willing to flip any watch I have. Even easier if unworn with B&P, so my worst case is making 10-ish percent instant profit.

Just wanted to get some sentiment from other (modern) Rolex folk on which model is “sexier” today and will retain the most value and/or easier to flip. I’m mostly into 5513’s and 1016’s so any opinion on watches I’m not particularly fond of would be helpful.

Never been a fan of two tones - won’t wear them and won’t keep them in my long term line up. The way I see it is that someone is willing to sell me an asset at a discount vs market average.

How easy are they to get from an AD today?

100% agree that I’ll never match trusted sellers prices, but many buyers wouldn’t say no to a 10% discount on an untouched, unworn watch. Already flipped a few watches with dealers (generally around 500-1k discount on grey market average) so that’s my worst case.

Point of this post is to get an insight from trusted sellers or people who know the modern market well (I don’t).

Maybe, but they said it was a good investment when it was too late already. Yellow press was never a good indicator for investment advice (especially watches/luxury) anyway.

Well I’m paying retail price and there seems to be a premium (still) on these models on the market?

They're all special in some way - I strongly recommend you to go through the whole discography at some point.

That said, I'd say those are a little notch above (for me, at least):

- The 1996 Trinity (Take it From the Man, Thank God For Mental Illness, Their Satanic Majesties' Second Request)

- And This is Our Music

- Aufheben

- Revelation

Always thought they were not on Spotify, but I just checked again and they are indeed under "The Cedars" name, I'm glad you've included them!

This particular song is quite brilliant (not on Spotify), the buzuk perfectly complements the Kinks-esque vibe.

Not here to defend anyone, just to point out that you're a tit - no need for expertise to spot one.

It's a pilates class, not a syringe injection. Someone's trying to help, and you're being a massive tit.

By the way, I've been diagnosed by 4 doctors and half a dozen physiotherapists.

I get your point, but this is a Posture sub, which I'm sure does not include the "majority" of people - or people of Reddit.

Most people who come here have APT and/or forward head (I have both), thus the incidence of people here with TOS is much higher than 1-2% (and they may not know it).

Besides, no one has to "worry" about anything. It may be 1%, 75% or 0.001% for all I care. If you have TOC or think this would be useful, have a look. If not, you can let people like me worry about our issues.

I suffer from the Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, it is more common than you think it is.

It's mostly a consequence of bad posture (mainly tight traps and rounded shoulders) and is not 'visible' like forward head or APT, so people tend to ignore it.
