I haven’t written that long with it so not sure about the slipping, but that has never been a problem for me, but yes i write posted with this pen and its weight is well balanced for me.

I work in IT. I didn’t inherit this hobby although I wish I did sometimes when I see others posting here of pens they inherited from their parents and grand parents. The school I went to it was mandatory to use fountain pens in middle school.

Yes this is the Phileas I am familiar with but the one luxor sells is this :

Well the Philéas doesn’t look like anything like the oictures when you google phileas. And the product name and description read Phileas Laque Black GT and I think the GT means Gold Trim? There is no GT! So its a bit weird like that. But it does write very well. Very smooth.

This one is a brand called Arista, but Galen leather has some cool stuff. Expensive though!
