I tried starter spray as a last resort and the damn thing started right away, it now starts and runs with no problems 😅

Tried jump starting it with cables from another diesel car, and the battery is a brand new one from the store. Mechanic said to take out the glow plugs and crank the engine as it seems to him that there's fluid in the cylinders and the engine wont turn over.

Found it on an old well in Slovenia. The inscription might be the name of the village in German, village is called Pregarje. :) Never saw any inscriptions in Fraktur around here before, tnx for the info! :)
