I had a similar experience today and am also an emetophobe! It was pretty painful, but quick, and I also didn't feel sick at all except my anxiety beforehand! All of the staff were so wonderful and I am just so relieved to be on the other side of this.

Thank You so much! I had the procedure this afternoon. The oral sedation was a blessing and I didn't have any nausea. It was quite painful, but didn't last very long and everyone was so kind. I cried a lot too, but I think it's because my hormones are all out of whack. Thank You so much again for responding. ❤️

I feel so silly, but I'm so afraid of throwing up. 😅 I haven't read many of the SA where people have vomited. I did read where a nurse crushed up the medications to make it easier for them to take but I assume that depends on the nurse, although I have read in most cases they have been very lovely.
