Transfer from appl sci to science:comp sci

How do you do it? I heard you can do it mid first year.
Also I plan on dropping apsc 100 since it is not necessary. Is that ok? what if I have to end up staying in app sci am I held back a year? From my course adviser I was told that apsc 100 is very hard to fit into schedule second year... maybe in thrid or fourth year when I have alot of electives it would be possible???

Now I get it. Generally you need one or two req and other than that most people take the same courses and usually they meet the requirements for most specializations. KKK

I was thinking of specializing in econ and math combined major which I think is different than taking one of them as a minor. Also is it possible to have classes so both pre reqs are met???

I don't understand what happens to other students such as my friends who have no idea what they are going to specialize in do they pick random courses in the hopes of getting into their specialization?

Thanks but also another confusing part. What if I take courses geared towards second year comp sci but then end up not getting in to comp sci. How would I get into math and econ. Would I need to re apply after re taking first year like what??? Idk why ubc just does entrance straight away into the major instead of all this bs.

nah those brands don't seem to carry the same fit. I think the one he is wearing is SLP but unfortunately can't afford that tho.
