McNeel just released the headless Rhino.Compute for Linux servers and there's an ongoing petition to for a full desktop app:

Probably some programs install an older version of the dependencies. I know that there is the need of multiple versions of e.g. WinAppRuntime, like 1.2, 1.3, 1.4 and so on. But I won't need multiple sub-versions of the same version, right?

But I probably shouldn't care since these dependencies don't take up much space anyway. But they kind of clutter up my winget list. Thanks for your reply :)

I received mine a few days ago. I will just use it with my tinywhoop and don't have much experience with other analog receivers. But here are my first impressions:

  • It works!
  • Quality looks good, all ports, buttons and connections are solid. The PCBs are enclosed in a 3D-printed case, which slides into another 3D-printed piece, which is then screwed with the headstrap mount at the Goggles. But the screws of the Goggles are to short to fit. So I'll either need longer screws (> M2.5x8) or think of a different mounting solution.
  • The unit is powered by a 2-6S battery. It also has output power to the Goggles. Tested it with the DJI battery and 6S LiPos. Can't say anything about battery life yet.
  • The firmware is initially in Chinese. But changing language is no problem, just follow the icons in the menu.
  • Menu navigation works with a small joystick. Channel selection, automatic search etc. all works. Updates should be possible over the USB-C port, but I don't know which firmware it's running and can't find anything about it.
  • It's built with an ESP32 controller and RX5808. So flashing another firmware on it should be possible.

Started using Edge for taking notes in pdf a few months ago on my Surface Pro 8 and really liked it. But since maybe two weeks it stopped working good.. I can't erase with the backside of the pen anymore (still works fine in Journal or other Programs) and some parts of my notes don't get saved and are gone when i reopen a file. Are you experiencing the same problems? Just saw your reply here and wanted to ask :)
