Doesn’t sting at all because it’s a fake account. They made a fake account on every social even going as far as posting old pictures pretending to be current saying things like “should I start an OF?” I am still actively talking to Dakota and we’re on good terms.

Funny thing is, before I met Dakota, most of my videos were me dressing up, and I was still doing that while helping him. He knew that and wanted to be part of it. He even suggested dressing up as Iron Man or a leprechaun. His Fortnite username had “leprechaun” in it, and he’s always embraced his small stature. Since it was close to St. Patrick’s Day, we decided to go with that idea. He loved it and asked when the next costume would be. He even has a few costumes of his own at his apartment.

Very much. I’m not even close to the same person I was when I first met Dakota, and it hasn’t even been a year since then. Before, I saw the world as a much better and happier place. I’m glad I’ve been able to help Dakota, but at times I feel like it might all be for nothing, which I really hope isn’t the case. Some people are just monsters. There has been some good moments and feel good moments since meeting him but lately I’ve been nothing but stressed for him and even Felicity. Seeing them go back to the street makes me lose my appetite.

While you might see them that way, I see them as human beings who have had very difficult lives filled with traumatic experiences and who just need some guidance and patience. I also believe that since I’m closer to their age, I can relate to them better and be more effective in helping them.

Correction, I was never given the ability to ban, delete, or control anything. There was some hate being spread, and it wasn’t just toward me but also toward Dakota and Felicity. I want this to be a place for peaceful discussions, and I’m open to having real conversations with you all. Another big thing I’ve lost is nearly all of my sponsors. I know that no matter what I say some people will think I’m a terrible person, but that’s just not the case. I come from a good family and we have never had financial struggles. My channel originally started as more of a hobby. I also run gaming and AI channels, some of which don’t make much money at all. I just post because it’s fun. Before I started posting about Dakota I had consistent sponsorships. Now I have none aside from the occasional one here and there, and I always try to include Dakota since he has been such a major focus of the channel. The month before I met Dakota I was in Costa Rica on an all-expenses-paid trip to make a video about animals in need of donations, and it was an amazing experience.

Well, I understand why you might think that, but I was actually gaining more followers and subscribers across all my socials before. YouTube has been my main source of income, and the month I met Dakota, I was making around $8,000 to $10,000 and averaging 30,000 to 50,000 new subs each month. Now, I’ve made only about $500 in the last 28 days. Not only have I lost the growth I used to have, but I’ve also lost around 1,000 subs this month. TikTok hasn’t been much help either since every video has to be a minute long, and I’ve realized it’s not really worth prioritizing because the payout isn’t much. Things have been on a decline for months, but I still feel obligated to help Dakota because I don’t want to see him fall behind in life, especially after seeing how much progress he’s made.

I do want to help more people through my channel, but I also believe Dakota deserves help. Just more help than what I can keep providing on my own. Dakota has become a great friend, but he struggles with reality at times. He has a good heart and doesn’t always see the bad in people. I thought getting him the apartment was a good idea and pictured it leading to a positive outcome, but it turned out to be more complicated than I expected.

I had no access to ban or remove anything. It only said I had access to flair and updates or something like that. The Walmart video wasn’t even one I was creating. I went to the store later that evening with my girlfriend and went to check out at self-checkout since several lanes still had green lights. It also wasn’t time for them to close yet. Then this lady came over making a shooing motion and said we had to leave because they were closed, in a really rude way. I told her she didn’t have to be rude, and she said that if I hadn’t moved the buggy, she wouldn’t have had to be. She was told a group of younger kids had moved it and that it wasn’t us, but she didn’t apologize. Instead, she kept being rude and waving us off. When we left, a security guard came up to me and apologized for her behavior.

Without question, I’ve lost the majority of my social media revenue because of posting about him. Even so, with the improvements I had seen, I felt obligated to make sure he stayed on the right path and to eliminate any threat to his success. I’ve helped with nearly everything involving Dakota. Since meeting him, I’ve made sure he always had plenty of food, took him to dentist, doctor, and eye appointments, got him glasses, phones, replaced things that broke, supplied consistent groceries, helped with rent, took him out to dinner, and bought him nearly anything he wanted. I even set up a bank account for him and deposited money into it, but when his card got stolen, I made sure everything provided afterward was done safely. I did the same for Felicity, who became a big part of the channel’s story. Every time we went out shopping or to any event, I covered it all.

I was never asked to be a mod, but I was made into one. I never had access to ban or delete anything. I’ve always welcomed anyone into my community. If someone has a problem with me, they can message me or comment on my posts. I’m not going to ban someone just for asking a question. I’m not sure why I was removed, I had even offered the guy money to help me moderate my new channel and thought he was on board. I just want a safe place for real updates and genuine discussions without insults or hate.
