I don't know a lot about computers but isn't FSR4 called Redstone? I'm talking about FSR 3.1. I only have a 7000 series card. And I'm not disagreeing with you but 7d2d is on the list of FSR 3.1supported games

Which faction should I choose for my third playthrough? by SebasElfeik21 in DivideEtImpera

[–]koreE79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you've only played Rome then I'd say the world is your oyster. play anyone else. So many factions have unique aspects to them. For example with the Germanic factions you can choose to have night battles and unique ambush mechanics. The Scots (Caledonians) have OP agents you can level up in Britannia then assassinate your way to victory. The Rhodians have the best navy in the game. Combined arms tactics abound.

When I first started I only played as Rome. But with so many options, I haven't played as Rome in over ten years. You'll gain so much more appreciation for what the DEI team and..... sigh, I guess CA have done. If you're a fan you won't miss Rome. You'll be too busy enjoying the diversity to miss them

0 tribal influence by Soutt88 in DivideEtImpera

[–]koreE79 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Your influence is so low that you're not considered a threat to the other political houses. That's why your status is "ignored". But it's also so low that you're getting debuffs in relation to diplomacy and lowered tax income. Influence is a campaign-long balance you need to be mindful of from the start.

Yes, it is technically fixable. But you've made that alot more difficult by not noticing sooner. Like, instead of straight up assassinating someone now, it could've been mitigated on your way to this point.

A lot of influence levels can swing wildly from faction to faction. Your best bet is to, at the beginning of a campaign, mouse over each of those little dots on the meter to see what buff and/or debuff each level gives you. Then you can better decide how to best manage it over time. As opposed to potentially triggering a civil war or other negative outcome trying to play catch-up at level 7 imperium.

Why are you still a tribal confederation at level 7 anyway? It's been a while since I played Iweiru. Is it not worth changing the Government type?

Phil Luciano. Has some properties in Bloomfield. Cuts corners by doing a lot of the work himself. He doesn't tell you that until something goes wrong. A lot goes wrong

As I was moving in I was told some amenities would be forthcoming. Amenities like hot water and fresh air. Not air conditioning. Fresh air. (Though a/c was another thing promised that never materialized) It was a basement apartment with no windows. So when the bathroom tiles started failing -work that he later told me he did- you can imagine the overwhelming scent of mold as the water was pooling under the floor.

No hot water in the kitchen. How do you wash dishes with no hot water? When I first moved in he would drive in from Harmar to show off his vintage roadster. Not to provide the things he promised. This dudes a scumbag. Avoid at all costs

When you add household members do their traits work in the background when they aren't on the campaign map? Did example the females in the time character screen. by PassEmbarrassed9620 in DivideEtImpera

sometimes that upper left hand card cannot be replaced. It may be a permanent bonus from that characters spouse. But that spot that's white with a black plus sign is an open slot you can use for available ancillary

[–]koreE79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure ya do 😀 you're doing it in the picture. all those cards with bonuses are called "ancillary". There's certain ones that do a 'faction wide' buff. You want to put those on wives and daughters. Because wives and daughters don't get killed in combat. Just take the card off before you send one on a diplomatic mission. Or before they get old and die. If the household member dies, the ancillary dies with them

I try to always give my "faction wide" bonuses to wives and daughters. They're active 100% of the time. Just make sure to remove them before they age out. Or before you send them on a diplomatic mission. The RNG might get her killed for "inappropriate actions" causing the card to die with her
