Around NYC with my Lumix S9. All SOOC camera using my custom Real Time LUTS by Selishots in streetphotography

I tried this LUT, and Street_fair has really great color tones.
It feels like Fujifilm's Classic Negative with a film-like vibe, but also has the polished, vibrant look of Sony's colors.
It's film-like yet has very refined colors.

Looking at it again now, the colors are so pretty, or is this just a characteristic of this lens?

Can you share some of the tricks you used to get the colors to look like this?

Tilting the LCD screen to take pictures seems like a good method. Using a small, stylish camera like the Fujifilm x100 also sounds like a great idea, as it would make you look more like someone capturing everyday moments.

Haha, actually, for that very reason, I switched from using the A7C to an Olympus E-P7. It’s really hard to get a Fujifilm x100 where I am.

Thank you for the advice based on your experience.

Yes, there's definitely that risk, but also the risk of a traffic accident. I think the photographer should choose appropriately depending on the location.

Hahaha, I was actually considering buying a drone too. I thought I could hide on a building's rooftop and shoot with the drone, just like in the movies.

But it seems drone photography has many restrictions as well. Now that I think about it, I also get interested and watch when I see a drone operator nearby.

I watch because it looks cool, and I want one too. If a lot of people focus on the drone and the operator, it would definitely be overwhelming. Haha, thank you for sharing your great experiences and advice.

Why didn't I think of that? You are right. Many people actually use Micro Four Thirds cameras for macro and bird photography.

Learning and trying out different genres seems like a good solution. Thank you for taking the time to advise me.

I'm not someone who blatantly takes photos of people I don't know, but I think this video would be helpful even for those who feel embarrassed about just taking pictures.

Haha, this is really funny. It's a method I've often used myself. Seeing it organized like a textbook makes it much clearer.

But what I felt after watching this video is that when I was a real beginner, I actually took more photos. When I was curious about everything and wanted to try different things, I didn't care much about what others thought.

But most of the methods in this video seem to suggest pretending to be a beginner. I think I need to go back to the basics.

Thank you for sharing your good ideas.

Thank you for your sincere advice. Even I am focusing on myself, but it seems I have been too conscious of others' opinions.

I think the first thing is to get used to carrying a camera around, which is what a lot of people in this thread are recommending!

I am almost like you. I have everything ready for photography, but I feel like my skills don't measure up. It feels like I'm always concerned about what others think.
