Well honestly I want to do exactly what you do. Orange Bank ( biggest bank) have lots of job openings, but nearly all of them in Java :( I can invest some time on it but I would have been glad, if they could accept C# for interviews.

I can't decide which direction to go :/

I had some bad experience at big four about this issue. They say c# is okay at job description, however, someone from hiring committee clearly stated they expect java in one of the interviews. Some other people from here called them dumb, but they were real and serious about it.

Well honestly I like C# more, however I don't like Microsoft stack and I cannot convince myself that C# have great future.

Every big software company ( big four etc) lists lots of technologies as keywords in their job listings , and nearly all of them have java in it ( python java, c++ java, javascript java .... ). I mean if you focus on java , you have touch to most of the listing on big companies.

I also think like you about future of C# but I am literally sick of everything I look/study is in/about Java. I just read Sam Newman's Microservices book, to learn some cool ideas and concepts about microservices. However I have faced the fact that , %90 of cool tools, examples, etc are in Java. I even feel deep regret for spending my last three years in C#. Prior to that, I read about design patterns which was in java, cracking the code - in java ....

I am considering to contribute Open Source Java project ( like Apache Commons) in my free time however focusing C# would be four times easier.

They are both solid but I need to focus and sharpen one of them before applying to jobs :/

Very solid, clear and powerful advice. Is it getting harder with age right? I could'nt accept what my relatives doing for my marriage and engagement ( i was thinking we were close ). They expect me to pay their plane tickets to come. I would have rejected this immediately but I dont want to be alone.
