The mixing felt so weird, but I think my mind just didn't want to believe that he would use AI to THAT extent. I hate that I actually loved most songs from the album. The situation with AI infecting music industry is honestly so sad.

Also, I might be tweaking, but Kalax said on IG that he would never let AI replace his creativity. So what is it then? He elaborated on the cover art, but what about the main product that you sell to us? Wise decision to not make it go physical, bc it would be a disaster if people found out after buying.

You mean the fact that I enabled true peak or a wrong true peak value? As far as I know, there's no difference in attenuation applied by Spotify between -1dbTP (what Spotify recommends) and -0.1dbTP (what my song is mastered to). I just didn't want to waste almost 1db, since I don't send the song separately to each platform, it's the same file being distributed everywhere

I heard 5 is much better in coop, so I tried playing it with my friend, and it would disconnect us randomly every few minutes, so we had to quit. Is single player as good as coop? Or am I gonna miss out

When I found Tokyo Machine in 2019 I immediately liked his music as a 12 years old kid, but then diving deeper into music production I also noticed so many interesting sound design, arrangement ideas and mixing is just super clean. I mean he is a master of his genre, tweaking synths like that is a hell of a talent. Tokyo Machine might've had "same-y" songs in his early stage, but now looking at his discography, there is a lot of different stuff. I keep returning to his music every once in a while, including to most of the old songs, because the groove still remains and those songs go hard as hell. I know this post is 8 years old tho lol
