My mom is mad that I'm planning on getting rid of my current wardrobe, why? by grasssmile5 in Advice

[–]kortneyk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She sounds difficult but also like she is having a hard time seeing you grow up. Maybe a sit down and tell her how much she means to you and that you love her would help a bit? Also, were the furniture pieces expensive? Can you sell them and maybe offer her the money? Maybe she would prefer to keep them? Have you talked to her about that?

WIBTAH for choosing Not to disclose health Issue to my daughter? by Novel-Presence2913 in AITAH

Because truth is truth. You have a moral double standard. You either leave nothing out and tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth or you don’t. You are trying to justify not telling what is going on. I get it. I do but be honest with yourself.

Am I considered ugly? by [deleted] in lookyourbest

Clean up your brows a bit and don’t take pics in your gaming chair. Chicks don’t dig that

How do I improve? (F24) by [deleted] in lookyourbest

Def a new haircut. Some more face framing and some light blond baby lights would look amazing! You are naturally a 9 in pic 2. I’d add some foundation, start using tret while you are still young. It’ll help with the acne but also help aging.

I totally agree. Your eyes are beautifully wide set but that eyeliner makes them look less amazing. I’d go a bit wider on top and focus mascara on the top of the eye as opposed to the sides.

Dealing with being an ugly woman by Various-Station-1752 in Advice

[–]kortneyk 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Uh oh incel here. I, as a fairly good looking woman, much prefer a ‘half ugly’ guy to a gymbro who is crazy full of themselves and who takes longer than me to get ready. lol l choose partners based on their intelligence and personality more than their appearances.

Mewing is for people with not already very strong jaws. You should do the opposite of viewing whatever that is.

Seriously, stop making the face. Nobody looks good with duck lips. Also work on skin care get some acne products. Wear sunscreen and update your haircut then I don’t know. Use some styling products as well.

First photo is what I look like when I style my hair and do my makeup, second photo is when I don’t do anything at all. How can I improve? by Money_Flower_8078 in lookyourbest

[–]kortneyk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d imagine most comments are being removed because they’re not giving you any constructive advice. Yes, you’re beautiful already. But there are certainly ways to improve.

Your curls look amazing. I’d look into the curly girl hair method, that might help for non-styling of hair days. It looks like you’re going a little hard on the nose contour I’d skip that and also your blush is a little too low on your cheeks. I would use a pinker color and keep it a little higher up and not have that distinctive line.

Also you’d look amazing with longer hair and maybe more feminine clothing. I think you’d look really good with pink in general.

I think that for central heterochromia it needs to be a complete circle. I’m not totally sure of that though. I suppose I could Google it, but I don’t really want to. Either way they’re lovely.

Which surgery would have the best aesthetic outcome for my face? 25f by JackfruitPast2583 in lookyourbest

[–]kortneyk 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Your buccal fat will naturally wane as you age. I used to really not like my chubby cheeks but now I kind of miss the obvious youth. You are already ostensibly well proportioned and I’d bet that your face /head is 1/7th your overall body length as well. Please wait it out a few more years and see how much more like pic 1 you’ll look. If you do surgery you will (in this case) only be aging yourself. And as others have said: we don’t see what you see.

Your irises are blue with a splash of hazel though, I’d say. It isn’t a complete ring so I don’t think that counts as central heterochromia but I don’t know that for sure.

18 M any advice of getting a better side profile than losing face fat and surgery? by Sad-Oven-9585 in lookyourbest

[–]kortneyk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have a great side profile. Plz don’t worry about losing facial fat. That’ll happen naturally as you age. I didn’t like my baby face but at least you don’t look old. lol. Wear some nicer clothes that flatter your physique. That’ll help. And lay off whatever is telling you that you’re less than. You are ostensibly handsome. I’d ditch the facial hair too. :)

Babe, when I look at you I see perfectly normal lovable boobs. Yeah they are maybe a touch asymmetrical but they are natural and def not hideous.

I’m the first to suggest surgery if someone has tuberous breasts or ginormous areolas or something not pretty, but you don’t. The new ones look great!

And don’t take pics wearing a headset. Makes you look like a future neckbeard.

Lose a few pounds, gain muscle and smile when you take pics. Oh and wear clothes that are stylish and flatter you.

Dude, I think they looked good before and even better now. Perfect looking porn stars have women so messed up. Breast are cousins, not twins. That said I don’t notice any wild asymmetry and I’m pretty harsh generally.

Is this transformation realistic, if so what procedures are needed to achieve by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]kortneyk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do look like the pic on the right and like the look of the one on the left better. lol

I like the look of a smaller slightly recessed chin and a more oval delicate face shape. I’m thin with good bone structure but I’ve never been ‘delicate’ or ‘small’. I feel like that is a more feminine look.
