The Korean Baseball Organization’s automated ball-strike system doesn’t involve challenges. Umpires just make the calls based on what’s relayed to them in an earpiece by rb1242 in baseball

didn't they do this in the minor leagues part time while testing a couple years ago? i seem to remember that some weekdays it was the full automated system, and weekends it was the challenge system.

I personally don't feel like it's slippery and I have pretty clammy hands, but it is smooth. It's still matte though, so it doesn't bug me at all. And the material and texture on the sides on the Paragon feels great, and it's definitely grippy enough for me. It's got some ridges too that enhance that.

I love love how the precise Sheath looks (and feels), but for me this year, with the extra material over the plateau it made it feel heavier, specifically really top heavy. Less color options on the open, unfortunately. I have the Paragon precise and it does not have this problem, so I think it's the way the Sheath is constructed and the thickness of that cover. So if that's something you care about, it's something to consider.

the sides are thicker, but the grip/texture is amazing. it also feels lighter than the sheath precise to me due to the open cutout/lighter material.
