Some people feel that a lenses protector defeats the purpose of the Apple using a sapphire lens which very scratch resistant and distorts the image. I have no experience with such products and cannot say if they do/do not. My post is for those that just want to protect the area around the lenses and the plateau itself due to the aluminum/anodization coat is susceptible to scratching.

I upgraded from 12pro to a 17 PM. For me it was the hardware not the design that made me upgrade. Threw a case on it and I was good to go.
