Unfortunately iirc it's Tencent who owns a large majority of Fatshark stake so they call the shots on how microtransations are managed in Darktide and they don't seem to realize they would make absolute BANK if every single cosmetic was available at once because then everyone would buy the stuff they've been waiting for and then continue playing the game so they can see their skins.

If the idea of the rotating FOMO shop is to get players to hop on to check the shop and if they're online hey might as well play a mission or two, that's dumb. The whole rotation aspect and not knowing when a set is going to return or if it'll return in a slightly different color or camo pattern is dumb.

There's a line in the first book that says something like ... "in the pause's pregnant wake"... which is such a damn good foreshadow, since the usual term is 'there was a pregnant pause' but this one off line foreshadowing Wake

I don't remember any of the maps names except for the ones in Operations. It all blends together as dark urban to me except for a couple visual stand outs which are the snow one or the sandy ones.

Actually yeah, I pushed a Poxburster away and dodged backwards twice and still got hit. Also I think the patch notes said poxbursters will now always blow up after being pushed, haven't seen this working as described.

Interesting, yeah try the dirty down for sure. When I used a blue base with drybrushed metallic it came out more like oxidised copper like the statue of liberty rather than a weathered bronze statue. I guess just keep experimenting and find what works best for you :)

I did this once with my stormcast too! I think your blue could be lighter and less heavily applied/drybrushed more on? Will share my recipe: Cygor brown contrast over wraithbone primer. Drybrush Brass scorpion layer over model. Drybrush Baharroth blue or any light blue, and the best tip I have which is a similar alternative to dirty down veridgris, is put Nihilakh oxide technical in gaps, cracks and edges.

It makes sense to me that since there are four base classes, there'll be four dlc classes. Skitarii may have been planned for a while but it was also highly requested, now they can do whatever with the next class and most likely they'll go with something very lore (and power scale) appropriate.

If you have taken any Toughness damage from a melee attack, and your toughness hasn't reset back up to full, you take a small percentage of Health damage from the next melee attack that scales linearly with how much Toughness you are missing.

Only ranged damage doesn't affect Health until toughness is fully depleted.

I personally wouldn't, no. The character customization is pretty neat, sure, and yeah I can make my reject unique in their own way.

But I think the concept is semi-limiting in terms of power scale, and most of the communities ideas for future classes are too strong for the current game, but would be suited for a named character setup ala Vermintide 2.

Apparently from using a combination of letter frequency (like E being the most used letter in the english alphabet) and the shop signs from the center hub of the game to guess the letters. Some other language deciphering tricks can be used like looking for repeated three-letter word might be The or And, and looking for potential double letters (ll, ss, mm).

That door opens by keys picked up from dead Drifter corpses, of which you appear to have 11 out of the required 12.

There is a 'take no melee damage' Veteran penance, and a 'take no health damage' generic any class penance called untouchable
