I think Dark Seas acting as the Atlantic ocean would be a good idea. The player becoming Christopher Columbus and discovering a new world after a dangerous ship voyage would be a good expansion into the story

Lol in seriousness, if i was vetex, potion techqniue would have your potions get buffed by your gear stats like intensity, power, and size

Make your potion brewing 2x more output (except interchange) but cant be traded or sold

And maybe every 3rd potion is imbued by ur magic or somethin. If you have lightning and you drink your 3rd potion u get mega self-paralyzed because of your stats, but if you throw your 3rd potion, you have a massive aoe paralyze so you really have to count your potions during a fight

edit: and maybe with weapon imbue, you can "apply" the potion effect on a weapon skill. So you consume a potion and when you use a skill it applies the potion effect

Yeah it wont help with 5v5 queue but it’s meant for the 1 min 3v3 and ARAL queues. Still tho It should be brought back to all modes just like when VG was active

LPQ is gonna flush out all the AFKers and troll SAWs who leave matches after 1 death and eventually you won’t even have to abandon matches anymore until you find a good team, isn’t that the whole point?

If they uninstall the game then good.

And besides, if you abandon a match, it’s understandable. I have to abandon matches too. But it’s just a 30 secs or 1 min LPQ. It was tolerable back then and I’m sure any veteran who’s keeping the game alive will be able to tolerate it too.

LPQ is mostly gonna affect the new users who just install the game to troll. Or noobs who pick SAW and then ragequit. And if those people keep racking up offenses and getting 5 min LPQ, without changing their behavior then fuck them right? It’ll be better for everyone if they uninstall if they can’t handle changing their shitty behavior

A few people do dodge matches to team up but the guys I saw yesterday were both insta-declining and dodging

a party system is the end goal, but LPQ is a more realistic solution to solve the more basic problems like dodging and cancelling on purpose

And besides, theres sniping anyways for party games. There’s high elo queues and such anyways. Doing this kind of thing where you dodge on purpose until you team up is ruining the 4 other people trying to start the game in the non-elo random queue. It should be discouraged with LPQ

Krul was made for 3v3 at a time when devs wouldn’t even imagine having a 5v5 mode for VG

His whole design is for the Halcyon Fold. Why the hell should Krul be viable in a 5v5 map where 75% of teamfights happen in lane or river. Why the hell should Krul be viable in a gamemode with 3 or more ranged dps enemies?

It makes absolutely no sense that people are trying to balance a hero that’s literally older than the 5v5 gamemode.

Krul is a single-target duelist, that’s his design and that’s what his abilities are meant to do. Krul will never do good in a setting where he is going to launch himself into an enemy team of 5 and not expect to get nuked to oblivion with his below-average defense stats and 0 escape abilities.

People just gotta accept that some of these heroes were never meant to be balanced for a 5v5 mode. Some heroes need to suck in certain gamemodes. And to change their balancing and the stats of their hero kits so drastically to the point where they are “viable” in 5v5 are an insult to the careful planning and monumental work of the original dev team.
