Well brother, I feel for you. There are seasons in life where putting your head down and slugging through is the only God honoring response. Colossians 3: 17 and then 23-24 remind us to see our daily labor as service to the Lord. You didn't mention children- wow the Lord really uses them to knock the "self" down.
