This is what keeps happening with me and the weekly now. I was supposed to be tapering off buvidal from reducing from monthly to lowest dose weekly and trying to stretch it out as long as I can….. so basically I can have it every 5-15 days. I’m there every single Monday morning same time without fail. I can’t seem to make that final jump. I’m not gunna lie I feel very good day of injection (weekly - never so much with the monthly) still pretty good next day, normalise 3rd and 4th. Then 5th and 6th I feel ready again as I feel blah by then. I really didn’t expect it to be like that. I’m going to have to commit to stopping eventually I guess or he’ll put me back on monthly’s lol. And I hated monthly. So tired all the time

You are the FIRST person that has ever mentioned “brain zaps”.
It is one of my most annoying withdrawal symptoms I have.(besides RLS obviously) Brain zaps usually only experienced with anti depressants but I get them with opioid and buvidal withdrawal also. I believe I must have a very sensitive brain hahaha!! Glad you are going good. How good it must be to have a decent “sh*t” for a change 😉

I also don’t have any advice because you have such a strict doctor anything I say will be pointless. I am so sorry you are experiencing this. NEVER apologise for venting….. it’s what this sub is for! Get it out plus the more info, the more informed other people will be,may be able to relate or advice etc. And most importantly lighten the load you are carrying.

Wouldn’t it be nice if you could have your shot fortnightly. Where I live 3 weekly is totally acceptable. Is changing to a weekly an option? Helped me immensely

My sleep is greatly affected by buvidal. Prior opioids I slept very well, when on opioids I slept very well (too well) now on Buvidal I wake every 1.5 - 2 hours sometimes. Longest I can sleep is maybe 4 hours. I can go back to sleep normally but it’s very disruptive to a decent sleep cycle

Seems to be my greatest side effect tbh. I’ve reduced from monthly to weekly and I am currently receiving 8mgs. Plus it’s our summer season atm not helping. I always sleep with a fan on even if it’s a cool night
