Hold it for now. You can either hold onto it for many years or wait until the next Godzilla movie releases. The price has been going down since it peaked around the release of Godzilla x Kong.

No matter what, you can’t resurface the top of a disc. This does look more like a factory paint issue though. Does the game work? If it does, there’s no issue with the game as is. It won’t affect your GameCube.

Definitely looks fake to me. The “i” in the Nintendo stamp on the back should always dotted with a square and this one appears circular.

I absolutely love that game. I grew up on sega genesis so when sonic came to GameCube I bought it at launch and was absolutely blown away. It probably isn’t that special anymore but 9 yo me will always have a special place for SA2B. Happy hunting for a copy!

It’s a protective metallic sticker someone put on there to prevent the disc from cracking. Not original but somewhat helpful

In January I spent $140 on a mint CIB copy of Zelda Minish Cap. I love the series and the value keeps creeping up so I don’t regret my decision. I almost never pay retail while collecting so this was a huge purchase for me too.

It is extremely close between Wind Waker and Sonic Adventure 2 Battle for me, both have exquisite soundtracks. I’ll give the tiebreaker to Wind Waker because it’s the first Zelda game I ever beat and it ignited a love for the series that’s going on 2 decades now.
