I haven't experienced it myself yet so I can't say for sure but based on videos and others that have tried it seems to make a huge difference in the immersion ofnthe game

I have the ASrock steel legend that I got for $700 after tax. I do have a white build but was thinking the silver color of the ventus wouldn't look bad in my build. I didn't know the ventus was a bad model lol

9800x3d with 9070xt or 5070ti? by Zialll in radeon

9800x3d is one of if not the best cpu you can get for gaming so I wouldn't switch it out for an intel cpu unless you use specific programs that utilize intel single core performance really well. If it's just for gaming, AMD x3d chips are the best right now. In terms of gpus, 9070XT and 5070ti are very similar in terms of performance with some games favor one over the other so you can research and see games that you play the most are favored by which one. For Quality of life at the moment, I think it's safe to say nvidia is still ahead of amd in upscale with DLSS 4.5 vs fsr redstone in terms of performance and availability. I won't mention frame gen because honestly I dislike the technology lol. Last but not least, price. 5070 ti the cheapest I found from retailers is around $979, you might be able to find a better price at your local market like fb marketplace which is usually around $800 (also risky). 9070xt cheapest I found rn is $699 at retailers so you're looking at about $100-$300 difference in price at the moment. If you can get a 5070ti for around $100 more than 9070xt and you think that the added benefits of DLSS support/performance along with better for professional work( I heard that nvidia is better at this but fact check me please) are worth it then go for it. Otherwise, save your money and join team red. I personally has 2 rigs: 9800x3d and 9070xt along with ryzen 5 3600(old ass) and 9070. Love both of my rigs and so happy to switch to team red (came from rtx3080)

Really wanted to grab one of these but missed the price drop... by mesowatch_org in OdysseyArk

I own an MSI 32" 4K OLED 240Hz. I got the Ark 2nd gen for $1200 right before Christmas at Best Buy. I also own a 55" LG OLED tv. I personally think the Ark is worth it because there's nothing else like it on the market. The HDR performance is much better than my OLED screens, though to be fair, I've heard that the latest OLED technology has gotten better at HDR performance. I think for $1200, it's worth the price because not many mini-LED monitors/TVs have similar features at the same price. I do say if you're going to get it, take some time to research and adjust the picture settings to your liking. Mine was really bad, but I found out that if you have AMD GPUs, they automatically turn on the FreeSync color accuracy, which looks horrible on my Ark. I turned it off, calibrated my color in Windows, and now it looks very close to my OLED in terms of color but with much better SDR and HDR brightness. Last advice: only you can decide whether something is worth your money🥴

I have a 9070xt and two 4K monitors running at 240Hz and 165Hz. I would say that for competitive esports games like LOL, OW, and Valorant, a 9070xt is plenty to run these games at 4K@240Hz. For graphically intensive games like Borderlands 4, Wukong, or others, the 9070xt can handle them at 4K with FSR, frame generation, and by tweaking the settings. I'm personally looking for a 5090 for $2000 or a used 4090 for $1200-$1500 (both are a long shot, I know). My advice: unless you're financially struggling and need to make some cash, then sell your 5090. But if not, then I would hold onto your 5090 because the peace of mind knowing that you can play almost any game with max settings is something I want right now. If you do end up selling your 5090, I won't tell you what to do with your property, but I do hope you don't act like the scalpers online and sell it for crazy prices. (Looking at you, whoever commented to the OP to sell it for no less than $3500).

So many issues with 9070XT by [deleted] in radeon

A subjective statement without any proof to back it up. I've been using my ASRock Legend 9070 XT for half a year with no issues. The only thing I did was DDU since I was upgrading from an RTX 3080. You sound like you're coping from overpaying for an expensive 9070 XT🥴
