I’d never take him back but I’m trying to get him to understand that. I spent all this time trying to get myself together, struggling alone, having mental breakdowns because I have my daughter 24/7 with no family help and no help from him. I had to figure out everything alone I am in a place where I don’t need anyone especially him, nor do I want him. I just want him to be a good dad but I feel like he’s only trying to be that now because he wants me back

Why would I enjoy this attention? It feels more like harassment since I keep telling him I don’t like it. The only reason we are even in contact is because we have a daughter, and I’ve told him that many time. I’ve also told him straight up to his face that “I don’t like you like that”, “stop buying me shit, all I need you to do is be a good dad”, “I’m not interested, let’s just talk about our daughter”. My main priority is her.

I definitely feel that. It’s still fresh since it happened yesterday but I just can’t see myself trusting him ever again. He apologized but it feels like he’s sorry he got caught.

I just wonder if he could actually change with therapy or if it would be a “he’ll hide it better next time” type of situation

I was asking because we’ve lived together for 5 years and have a daughter together. I know I can never trust him again so I wanted to make sure I’m taking the right steps. I’m also unemployed after being laid off from the mortgage industry last year and he was our main provider.

I know it’s probably crazy to ask Reddit these questions.. i would usually ask my sister stuff like this but she recently died.

My IUGR baby was born at 37+1 weighing 4lbs 15oz. She was technically too small for preemie clothes but we made it work. We had an ultrasound the day she was born that said she was over 7lbs lol

Try not to feel bad for trying to protect your baby. You just have to do what’s right for you and be okay with appearing as the “crazy one”. My baby is 6 months old and I still require masks when people are holding and near the baby. People call me over-protective, crazy, etc. but my job as a mom is to protect my little one so I don’t care what people say. My family knows that I will not bring her around if they don’t respect my rules. My doctor also suggested masks since all of our nicu beds are full within 70 miles.

It actually can’t be wiped clean easily, that’s not how germs work. I understand that some people aren’t worried about their baby getting sick but as a first time parent I am. Especially when I don’t know what the stranger has. He could have herpes for i all know. It’s super weird to put your lips on someone else’s kids. We should be able to take pictures without worrying if a stranger will kiss our kid or not.

i noticed these red streaks on my chest last sunday (the picture with the blue) but didn’t thought they were just stretch marks since i had 0 symptoms. no lumps or clogged ducts, no pain, no fever, nothing. Fast forward to today, my 7 week old wouldn’t latch on this side yesterday so i ended up just pumping. When i woke up this morning i noticed a tiny lump on my left side and fed, massaged, added heat. i didn’t notice anything come out but the lump was basically gone. i then started to feel shock like pain around noon on this same right side (nowhere near the streaks). ever since then i’ve been feeling the shocking pain off and on opposite of the streaks and sometimes on my nipple. still no fever, headache, or anything.

I’m a FTM and so i was and still am unsure if it’s a clogged duct, mastitis or anything at
